When I was in elementary school, everyone had a crush- except me. Then my brain started tricking itself into thinking that I liked my best friend, but I didn't like him, I just didn't want to feel different from the other people in my grade. I discovered aromanticism when I was 12 years old but I never considered that I could be aromantic. Time passed and I started to think I was demiromantic because I had only 'liked' my best friend, But later, thanks to a video by JaidenAnimations, I comprehended that I had never really liked him and I realized that I was aromantic. Thank you Jaiden.
