It’s unthinkable. Jade isn’t even a knight yet.

“I don’t know what to suggest. But things won’t be the same when we get home. For any of us. We’re looking over our shoulders for the Wyrm while walking straight into a war. Graydon–” She stops herself. It still hurts and she can only imagine it’s worse for Elora. It would be for Jade had it been Kit. But she wasn’t the one who lost her royal. “Galladoorn won’t take this lightly. It’ll be war on two fronts. Tir Asleen is going to need help. And then there’s–” She stops again, mind racing as it has every night. Her gaze finds the Tanthalos twins again, mainly Airk. Her words need not say where her concern lies. It’s right next to her lover.

"I think you underestimate how much I value your opinion," Elora began, but she knows that she and Jade haven't exactly talked all that much. She tended to leave that to Kit, but Jade's important to everything that they're doing here. More than that, she's right, and Elora would be a FOOL not to listen to what she had to say.

As much as Elora would rather be sleeping than having this conversation, the hard truths are what she needs to hear right now. She lets the words settle for a moment between them before she nods, only tasting the words once they roll off of her tongue. "You're right. It only gets harder and more DANGEROUS, and the stakes have never been higher. I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do either, but...what do you suggest?"

𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓸𝓷𝓼 – 💭 how they spend their free time – @miss-polly In all honesty, if Jade has free time (which is rare), it’s mostly spent with Kit. And that means much of it is spent sparring, horseback riding, or Kit finding other means of getting them into trouble. At least, before the quest. If Kit is busy while Jade has free time, the young warrior can sometimes be found with Airk or some of the other members of the Pacalcade who take her around Tir Asleen. And if all else fails and Jade purely wants to be alone, there’s a good chance she’s sleeping in her room above the stables (though she prefers a full schedule and might feel guilty for this). Mind you, this is excluding any of the solo time spent on work related activities (i.e. training, exercising, dealing with the horses).
