Her attempts at flattery did not go unnoticed, it was just very typical of anyone who had a gun pointed at them to try. Jordi didn’t blame her; it was smart, really. And at the very least she seemed to be frightened enough to not want to run away. At least not yet.

Slow and deliberate steps followed her, keeping the easier escape cut off. She could always run the other way down the alley, but there certainly wasn’t much to hide from his gun. “Useful, yeah. But, not particularly favorable. See, I’m the kinda guy who honestly would rather shoot first and ask questions later. Which should be good news for you, kid, because it would at least be quick,” usually, anyway, he thought to himself. That sort of thing depended more on how generous he might be feeling in the moment.

“So, I’m sure you must be wondering then, why?” Jordi started to move a couple steps closer, towering over her even as he kept his gun pointed straight at her chest, “I saw what you did. Took down that whole operation before slipping out the back door and leaving the guards wondering how fucked they are now. Oh yeah, I was there. That little show you put on fucked up my own plans, so now, you’re going to fix it,” he gave a smile, holding his other hand up to the side, “Call it a side job with an extra special payout.”
