Apokolips

The final war of the old gods spilt their world apart. The fragments coalesced into two new worlds. Similar life forms developed on each, but they developed differently. On Apokolips, the New Gods pursuit of personal material wealth through subjection of others and the rapacious consumption of natural resources of the planet left their world a dark, enflamed planet of slaves that serve Darkseid and his small cadre of elite gods.

Sun Boy

Sun Boy is a humanoid manifestation of the sentience of Earth’s sun.

In the late 30th Century scientists discovered unusual patterns in the solar radiation of Earth’s sun. Eventually these were recognized as language. Through painstaking study and experimentation humans learned to communicate with the sentience of their sun, and the sun created a humanoid form to live among and learn about the lifeforms on it’s third planet. 

The Blue Devil

Summoned on the set of a horror film by a conjuring spell written by a screenwriter that was unexpectedly effective, the Blue Devil is an actual demon from Hell bound to the soul of a stuntman on set during the filming. 

Hal Jordan

Hal Jordan is a test pilot for Ferris Aeronautics, an aerospace corporation that builds military aircraft and space ships for the US government.

When an alien from a nearby solar system died on Earth AI, he bequeathed his power ring to Hal, chosen by the ring as a man without fear.

Johnny Quick

Johnny Chambers is a mathematician who discovered a formula that explains how objects can be temporarily accelerated almost as fast as the speed of light. Reciting the formula helps him to conceive it is true and to take advantage of it.

The Anti-Life Equation

The Anti-Life Equation is an algorithm that overcomes free will and subjugates all life forms. Elements of the anti-life equation can be found in many social media platforms. Were any malevolent being to discover the entire algorithm they could bend the will of all life forms and rule the universe.
