Im not exactly sure what the issuse ur having is and im not the best at explaining things, im gonna point u to this tutorial here:

Because im not sure if your

A: having trouble connecting ur pretendo network ID

B: had accidently downloaded the not most latest version, (which could potenitally cause issues)

Or C: Havent connected ur DS to ur internet provider in your system settings. (ie Spectrum, Bender, or whichever internet service ur using) If its this one i can probably help u troubleshoot it. But if its one of the first two id suggest watching the tutorial first.

I had the ABSOLUTE WORSE struggles with connecting my modded 3ds to the pretendo network yesterday. Like, i got REALLY confused and frustrated, i asked for help in a discord server (i was REALLY tired and in a shitty mood) and everyone was so mean about it. They told me about 3 times, i cant connect to the internet, WITHOUT INTERNET. AND THEN I STRUGGLED FOR 80-FUCKING MINUTES BECAUSE NINTENDOS WAY OF SETTING UP INTERNET MANUALLY IS BATSHIT STUPID (i ended up giving up and playing Dress to Impress, not my proudest moment)

BUT MY POINT IS IF ANYONE WANTS TO SIT DOWN WITH SOMEONE WHOS MENTALLY 4 YEARS OLD AND SHOW ME HOW TO SET UP MY INTERNET (mostly what the big words mean...) I WILL BE A VERY HAPPY GIRL.
