(july 28th, 1:23pm et)

In the last hour, Siraj has gotten 125 CAD. Can we keep up this rate ? Or atleast something close to it? If we do, Siraj's will have made 1,375 by midnight and be just under 15k, just 5k more till our goal.

Exodus from death

Suddenly, suddenly, without warning, without warning messages, warplane and artillery missiles rained down on us from every direction!

For a few minutes, it was the story of our displacement, forced displacement. We were fleeing from death to death, children screaming, adults in pain, we ran away and did not know where we were going, without anything we left, except with our souls that were tired of all this crime!

They are liars, and by God they are thirsty for blood. They would kill us once, twice, three times!

Despite this, I still have hope in God and in you that I will build my home and return to it, and that the nightmare of war and the series of displacement will end.

With hope and hope, I ask you to provide support or share the post and invite your friends and relatives to support and participate.

Home memories🥺

I always think of our home, which we left nine months ago. How sad he is without us. He became accustomed to us as we became accustomed to him. He witnessed our joys and sorrows, witnessed all the stages of our lives.

I felt as if my house were alive! For I believe that homes have souls just like us. Since we had to flee from our home, he has become alone. He does not hear our voices. He does not hear the sound of my key when I return from work late in the evening. He does not hear the voice of my wife while she works in her kitchen. He does not hear the soft snores of my children while they are asleep. He does not hear them play, the sound of our usual laughter is missing. He does not even hear our loud voices when we fight!

Now he is a pile of stones, and all he hears is the annoying noise of aircraft and continuous bombing. I always wonder about his condition. Does he miss us as much as we miss him? His loneliness hurts me, as does our distance from him...

Though I have my hope! As I progress in my campaign, I feel that I am getting closer to rebuilding my home and returning to him. I often imagine that we have returned home and saying "We have finally come back to our home! " He will once again be home to us, because I believe homes only die if their residents are absent! I don't want our house to die... Please help me return to him.

July 25 Message from Wafaa

Wafaa has made the difficult decision two days ago to raise her campaign goal from €50k to €60k, because of a series of aggressive iof bombings in Khan Younis that started in the early morning, extremely close to where Wafaa's children and grandchildren were (details linked in the post). They desperately need money for food and supplies for relocation to a safer place to live.

July 25 Message From Wafaa
July 25 Message From Wafaa

Wafaa has been largely bed-bound for the past two days because of paralyzing fear for her family's safety but also because of her own debilitating illness. As many people know, Wafaa evacuated for her own health in November of last year to get treatment. And yet Wafaa is now skipping medication and doctor's appointments for months just so she could send all the money she earns back to her family. It is up to us to help them raise whatever we could to lessen Wafaa's burden.

Here is a message Wafaa has sent to me to relay to all of you:

"Evacuating by myself was the hardest thing I had done. After going to Egypt, I suffered a lot in loneliness during my illness. Feeling pain and not being able to talk to anyone about your pain, so you feel lonely and alienated when you suffer and do not have money for treatment. It's hard to pay money on a house that I could live in. You always feel the desire to embrace your family and smell their scent, and the most difficult thing is to hear on the news about bombings near them. When you struggle to reach them but are unable to reach them due to the lack of means of communication. You stay up all night exhausted and tired, crying alone and in pain alone. I don't like to explain this pain to anyone. But this is my reality for months now.

I'm really very tired and I'm trying to get back to my strength, because I want to be strong to make a post about my children's campaign, but also my brother and sister's campaign." (more about Wafaa's brother Muhammad and sister Shaima here! campaign to be released after this current one reaches its goal)
