I was just saying today how I am somehow subconsciously repelled by this guy's work cause even though he does loads of stuff in and around genres I love (people singing, people vogueing, people doing crime) I've somehow instinctively never wanted to see anything he's ever done even when I haven't known he was involved, and the one time I tried with The Watcher I hated it

Adult realization: you will make mistakes, you will act irrationally. You will commit some wrongs that cannot be fully righted. People will dislike you and misunderstand you for all sorts of reasons. Girl in college told me I would 'fail all my exams' because I 'talked too much and mucked about and didn't take anything seriously' just because I didn't think every waking moment had to be about serious study and that having fun is not only good for your soul but good for your education too. Wouldn't normally care, I've been told I talk too much my entire life, but her outburst wound on and she got quite nasty with it.
