May I also add: If the Phaeacian are introduced that mean Odysseus will regained Ithaca on their magic boats and we can also have a Full Speed Ahead callback 🤓☝️
Truly hope we will have the Phaeacian in Epic the musical. I know that technically we don't need them story-like because the Phaeacian arc is just Odysseus telling his story, story we already know because Epic tell us the Odyssey chronologically like, and also they serve as a kind of "magic solution" for Odysseus to get back to Ithaca. Jorge can use another solution for Ody to regain his island, like Hermes just dropping him here or something like that, and totally cut out the Phaeacian.
But I think the Phaeacian arc is important character-like for Odysseus development. This is the moment of the Odyssey where he gets back his identity as something to be proud of and something to reclaim what is rightfully his.
When Odysseus gave his full name to Polyphemus he kinda "lost" it, like fae style shit. After that moment he never presented himself again and only gods referred to him by his full name, other characters call him "Ody" or "Captain" (I'm speaking in the musical, I didn't checked all my Odyssey volumes to note all the references of Odysseus' name sorry). In the Phaeacian's Court Odysseus claim back is identity as he entered the "man's world" again and with it his honors as a greek hero and king.
I talk a lot but I just want a callback of Remember Them's lyrics because against the cyclop his name made him lose it all but with the Phaeacian his name make him gain it all 🥹.

im going to have a stroke
*screaming in angst but also in amaze of the talent and hard work*
