All I'm going to say is that if the covid theory were true the entire band would have to isolate as a result, if they've been (presumably) rehearsing together. Since you need to isolate for 10 days (for best practices) and the tour starts in less than a week. I have tickets to the first show and haven't gotten any notifications about anything yet.

In addition, the removal from Jimmy Kimmel was very abrupt and happened almost immediately after they dropped a music video that has a lot of incredibly overt satanic imagery in it. As a result my working theory for now is that they more than likely got removed for potential conservative backlash.

Also, as far as I am aware the only source for the covid rumor is a dude on a Reddit. As far as we know he could have simply seen that they had been taken off of the site and decided to come up with this for Reddit Gold.

Someone on Reddit posted the meet and greet rules from their email and it’s a no touching situation and then I realized….ain’t nobody getting ciriced this tour, either 😂

In Decibel’s June 2011 Ghost cover story, a Nameless Ghoul and/or Papa himself—somehow, it’s unclear, given that all the band quotes were attributed to “the” Nameless Ghoul, a character described with physical attributes that match Papa’s—pos­ited that “the whole concept of Ghost is irony.”

“I don’t think he said irony—he said ’iron­ing,’” one of the Nameless Ghouls tells Decibel when we finally catch him on his cell at a Nashville titty bar. “He can be difficult to under­stand sometimes. We have to iron our costumes frequently, so that’s probably what he meant. But who’s he to say? I mean, he’s never ironed anything.”
