Challenge 72: Then, Now: February

So this one was pretty fun! Decided to revisit the illustration I did for Challenge 19! I started off by reworking the face and hair to better match my current drawing style. I then worked on the environment and lighting, that’s what really brought the drawing together for me 💜

Challenge 71: Happy New Medium: Mixed Media Mess

So, this challenge did not go how I planned at all! I originally aimed to create a piece with only traditional tools, scanning and cleaning up the image at the end if need be. However, I got about half way into the piece and caved and finished the rest of it digitally! XD

The base of the illustration was done with gouache/ colored pencils/ fine tip colored markers/ and copic markers!

Really fun commission I just wrapped up for the lovely @emhosart! This one’s a Christmas gift for her BF, and I just love the direction this one went in (the moment I read the quote she had in mind I was on board!!)! 😸
