The shovel dug into the mud and dirt under his worn-out boots, the metal seeping deep into the ground. A deep sigh escaped his lips, his arm brought up to wipe the sweat off his brow without a care for the dirt and grime that coated his skin. Leaning forward on the wooden handle of the shovel, the greenie let his whiskey-colored orbs scan over the vast green pasture called the Glade, taking in every feature he may have missed seeing over the past week.

That’s right. Just one week ago was when Thomas arrived in the box, his mind void of any memories. The only thought that ran through his mind was one word: run. It didn’t turn out for the best when he found himself face first in the ground and then locked in a cell for a few hours to keep him from running off again.

He learned his lesson that first day.

He just tries to look for ways to help you out so that you don’t make things harder or more dangerous for yourself

“Harry, can ye’ hear me alright?” Harry heard Zane Lowe’s voice fill his right ear as he readjusted his headphones.

“Yeah, I can hear ya,” he responded, running his fingers through his hair once everything was situated and his laptop was balanced perfectly on his knee.

“I’ve just been video calling and chatting it up with everyone on how they’re navigating the pandemic, so I’m very thankful you’ve agreed to join in.”

“‘S no problem. Thank you f’ having me.”

“Oh!” Zane interjected his own strain of thought, “I see you’ve brought a special guest for us today,” he said when Harry’s screen finally focused and he was able to see everything on Harry’s end.

You kinda being a “guest” on the podcast and you and David have been dating while so Jason is asking you guys all these like personal questions about ur relationship and sex life like who’s the loudest and you get shy

i love this so much i think i imagine being on the podcast with him the most, just because i talk so damn much lmao.

you’d be the first person david announces as an actual special guest who’d talk for the entirety of the episode (we all know how weird he was about someone being a legitimate guest). he’d ask you to for weeks and despite not really wanting to do it, you finally caved this week.

jason would start off the conversation innocently enough.

“so, you’re david’s girlfriend,” your laugh would interrupt him. “what’s it like dating this psychotic asshole?”

“um, he’s less of a psychotic asshole when you hold him like a baby at night and actually do the work for him at the airport. he’s my psychotic asshole,” you tease, and the listeners wouldn’t be able to see, but his face would be twisted up in faux offense.

“alright what the fuck is this? babe say something nice about me.”

“he’s very romantic. like all those podcast episodes where he sounds really romantic, that translates into real life,” you lean into him, hands wrapped tightly around the microphone.

jason chimes in, “what’s your favorite date you’ve been on with him?”

“umm, my favorite date? fuck okay, it would probably be that night where we drove to that ipic theatre to watch a movie, but on the way there the tesla ran out of charge. and instead of immediately calling support like a normal fucking person, david ran to the closest gas station to get flowers and snacks and we sat on the hood of his car and talked shit and looked at the sky instead.”

jason would cackle the entire time, because as romantic as it was, it was a totally ridiculous david thing to do.

“that’s your favorite? that was like, my lamest fuckin’ date ever,” david would look down at you, but all smiles.

“it was very sweet baby, and like, super authentic to your crazy ass.”

jason would fake gag.

“you’re actually also david’s first relationship after his relationship with liza, which was crazy public. and they had the biggest breakup of the century,” he’d joke.

david would cut in for you, not wanting you to have to address his ex girlfriend — “yeah, she’s the only person who i really look at and go, i want a future with her. so after liza there were a bunch of girls and i just always felt like i didn’t want anything with them. and when you meet someone who you can fuckin’ just have a good time with, you want to keep them. that’s her.”

you’d press your face into his neck at his answer, half in awe that he spoke about you that way, and the other grateful that you didn’t have to speak on it.

and then, jason’s taking questions around a different corner.

“so we talk about sex on this podcast a lot. y/n, be honest. does david have a big dick?”

your jaw would drop, letting out little laughs.

“jason, fucking huge.”

then everyone is laughing, and ilya would lean into jason’s mic.

“bro. you should try fucking living with them. i deadass have to get hotels every time they come home from dates because they’re so damn loud.”

“david, who’s louder?” jason and ilya are literally choking on their laughter.

you’d be deep red, holding in your giggles.

“that is private information. unless one day i really sell out and release our sextape.”
