Dude, how can it be that every single fucking thing about US politics trends on here immediately, yet when 27 countries in the EU vote and there's a historic, alarming lurch to the right (far right parties have won the elections in Italy, Austria and France), it's not even trending? In Germany, the AFD, a right-wing populist, anti-democratic, racist party with a wing that is officially extremist (read: Nazis) and is in parts monitored by the office for the protection of the constitution, is the second strongest party (also among 17-24 year olds!). Guess I'll die.

seeing christians beef over who is christian and who isn't when they all pray to the same jesus is so so funny to me bc ill see a jew with a completely different lifestyle than mine and we'll be like "jew?" "yes, jew!" "yayyyyy!!!" then invite each other over for shabbat dinner and find out we have like 15 shared friends

Happy Pride Month! It’s my first year celebrating and I decided I wanted to make an asexual cake! With the help of my extremely perfectionist mum, I think we managed to pull it off! I hope ya’ll are having an awesome pride month, whether you’re out, in the closet or somewhere in between 🏳️‍🌈

I don’t have the cake recipe myself, my mom actually made it using a congregant’s recipe (I can get it from her and send to you later) but I believe it’s just a general dairy-free chocolate cake.

Each color of frosting was:

- hefty amount of powdered sugar (I started with 1/3 cup each, but it ended up probably at least twice that)

- average slice of margarine, about half a cm thick

- 3 or 4 drops of oat milk

- (several drops of applicable food coloring)

- Lots of mixing & adding sugar until it was the consistency of spreadable frosting (:

You may want to scale up those amounts to make more than the amount of frosting I used for each color individually, but remember to really only use a small amount of oat milk. A little goes a long way.
