I've been updating my recipe notebook today and I realized, that the reason I started it the way I did was actually due to dyslexia 💀

In the notebook I break down the recipes I find on the Internet into the most simple possible bullet points, because reading the actual recipe while cooking always took a frustrating amount of time (I have literally managed to double to almost triple the time the recipe was supposed to take, just because of reading)

It's sort of fun to find all the ways I've been helping myself with this, despite not having had the diagnosis up until like 2 months ago.

if you don't want advice on this you can just delete but- hot water is a really good way to weaken bones, especially little bird bones. I would reccomend giving your next bones some time in the grass, preferably out of the way in some trees, and being patient instead of trying to cook them clean. Best of luck in your bone cleaning hobbies my friend.

Thank you so much! I've only ever heard of property cleaning bones by boiling them. If I ever get my hands on some bird bones again, I will definitely try that :).

Maybe I'll even try that once I retrieve my cat's bones.

In case someone hasn't yet found a way to properly work with the broken challenge rating system of DND 5e, I'd like to recommend the added website. Without this I'd probably make way too weak enemies for my players because for some reason the cr rating layed out for party's of 4 does not work very well for partys of 6 ಠ⁠﹏⁠ಠ.
