HEY!!! It's me, Catwheezie.

I've been using this blog to most my other work, rather than just cats. (You can still expect to see both here)

It felt all weird to post my other art under the name catwheezie... it was like...icky? I felt like I was tricking people into following me for one thing (kitties) and PYSCH! emo ocs.

So yeah, it's me. but I think without the hole I dug myself into with catwheezie, I can actually be more me? Catwheezie has a lot of eyes on them, so I kind of started playing this weird version of myself.

I'm emwheezie. You can call me Em or Wheezie or anything I don't care but I'm here and it's real.

how did your art blog get so popular? i’ve been posting consistently for over a year but never seem to get any traction, and my art definitely isn’t bad. maybe just haven’t found my audience? idk do you have any tips?

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I've had a large following on Instagram and Twitter for a few years now.

I've created a lot of content specifically to go viral, mainly drawing meme cats. I was really passionate about that for a long time (drawing cats I mean), but I've been taking a bit of a break and working on other projects. This account started as another platform for me to post my cat art but I also felt the most comfortable sharing my other projects here.

Another thing specific to how I grew on here: a lot of folks are familiar with my work from times it's gone viral on Twitter. To help people find me here, I blazed a few of my most popular artworks. That helped a lot! However, I've tried blazing my other projects and it doesn't do too much.

Ehhh I hope this is a little bit insightful? Mostly started strong here because a lot of people came over from Twitter and Instagram.

okay, I REALLY wanna drop some OC lore... Like it's burning a hole in me I want to so bad. I don't know where to start, or if I should be weary of "spoilers" and things?? I guess I could give a quick synopsis of the whole story or something??

I'm so down with answering any questions y'all might have though. And for now on, whenever I post my ocs, I'll try to add a bunch of lore!

OKAY I MADE A CHART FOR THIS...but it's complicated... and depends on what part of the story.

Here's some of the nonsense I made up as well as an outdated ref sheet. The designs are slightly inaccurate now, but it's still readable who's who.

All of this is only for part I of a fairly large story. Part I is HUGE... but we've broken the comic down into two parts because of "story reasons" (think of it like. season one and season two I guess?)
