I am redoing this challenge for this August (and likely next year too!)

These are all new characters from last year with some exceptions - either because they were fun to draw, or because I wasn't entirely satisfied with how they came out last time.

I'll probably make a tag for these too, probably "Rei's august wheel 2024" or something :P

ANYWAYS there shall likely be a lot more posts this month than usual so I hope ya don't get bored of me! :D

So I did a 30 day art challenge back in August, and I'm thinking of redoing it next year, either with the same fandoms or with new ones (depending on how the brainrot goes), but I thought I'd share some of my favourites from this year's since I never posted them!

Okay so y'all have no idea how scary it was to walk out to my 60 year old mother at 1:30am saying "oh so I spoke to [sister's name] about CBT"

She meant cognitive behavioural therapy because of my insomnia but that split second of doubt dealt 120 psychic damage that I don't think I'll recover

Quick update on the August Wheel - today's art should be coming out relatively soon (colouring is simple, lineart not so much), however there might be a delay for tomorrow's piece as every single one of my lineart pens is borked and I'm not sure how long delivery for more will take.

If you noticed scruffy/messy lineart in yesterday's piece (noticeably around the writing on the left side) - I'm literally having to blow the remaining ink onto a plastic sheet and draw using that. Luckily it somewhat fits today's character since he usually has chonky lineart, but still frustrating nonetheless 😔
