Y'ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS...
I am redoing this challenge for this August (and likely next year too!)
Except this time I have a Tumblr to post to rather than just Reddit, so I can compile 'em all here!
These are all new characters from last year with some exceptions - either because they were fun to draw, or because I wasn't entirely satisfied with how they came out last time.
I'll probably make a tag for these too, probably "Rei's august wheel 2024" or something :P
ANYWAYS there shall likely be a lot more posts this month than usual so I hope ya don't get bored of me! :D
So I did a 30 day art challenge back in August, and I'm thinking of redoing it next year, either with the same fandoms or with new ones (depending on how the brainrot goes), but I thought I'd share some of my favourites from this year's since I never posted them!

Quick update on the August Wheel - today's art should be coming out relatively soon (colouring is simple, lineart not so much), however there might be a delay for tomorrow's piece as every single one of my lineart pens is borked and I'm not sure how long delivery for more will take.
If you noticed scruffy/messy lineart in yesterday's piece (noticeably around the writing on the left side) - I'm literally having to blow the remaining ink onto a plastic sheet and draw using that. Luckily it somewhat fits today's character since he usually has chonky lineart, but still frustrating nonetheless 😔

Today's August Wheel drawing may need to be lumped in with tomorrow's - I can't get it to look right and my eraser is chewing up the page, so I've decided to glue the pages and start fresh.
HOWEVER the glue takes a while to dry, and I can't draw whilst it's still drying because it will fuck up at least 3 pages of the sketchbook, and since it's 6:25pm already and these drawings take at least 2 hours, it'll either be released at 10 - 11 pm, or tomorrow (and since I don't want my sleep schedule destroyed even more, I'm likely going to just delay it.)
Sorry for the delay, but hopefully with some sleep and time to clear my head, both drawings will come out good!
