My blog, my problems
Every so often, I fantasise of the possibility of bringing the empires smp musical onto stage. And I have plans my friend. Plans for props, plans for special effects, plans for the vision. Alas I am but one. And I can’t be bothered to do it myself
(But oh, it would be groovy. I would have a simple stage, with a large mountain that can slowly light up over the song Prismarine, and then we can change the lightly on the mountain to represent different areas. Also for the great salmon scam, we can have an axolotl on a wire which zips across and is caught under a bucket. We can make it so the transformation to axolotl can be done with a big ocean orb dropping down and splitting open, and the and any Xornoth scene will take place with the mountain reddish. And oh the finale, let me tell you the finale will have have all the characters surround the ocean queen with chaos until they are sent away, pushed away even. Then the human transition will be done by slowly changing the performers dress colour, until they slowly disappear under a trapdoor. Of course there is always the option for a more high budget approach with- hey, where do you think your going you read this already why not- you better- please no, read on, or think of your own interpretation bye-)
