my favourite genre of post-race Charles Leclerc win is Charles finding Arthur at the barrier, seeing Arthur looking at him with such joy in his eyes and then Charles messing up his hair

mclaren not ending up 1-2 + oscar not winning the race is thanks to mclaren and oscar themselves.
mclaren allowed oscar to fight lando way too early (they didn't stop oscar, so i take it as they have no problem with it)
this resulted in both oscar and lando pushing too hard to fight each other (lando to get back the lead & oscar for keeping his position and holding off lando); which cost their tyres immensely thus left no chance to try the 1 stop with either drivers
because they had to pit both drivers more than once allowing other teams (specifically ferrari) to get up there meanwhile both drivers had to get back into their respective positions; which got charles into the lead and comfortable to stay there with a 1-stop
I understand oscar wants to win, but he made a mistake in fighting and overtaking lando too early.
oscar could've tried overtaking lando later on, making a win for him possible (more likely than it did now)
it would've held up the rest of the grid (including charles) for way longer, thus creating a gap between the rest of the grid and the mclarens (they had the pace to do this)
instead he started fighting lando in turn 3 which allowed charles to get past lando, costing them the 1-2 before the first lap even ended.

extra notes:
mclaren was right not to swap oscar and lando for lando's wdc (which would've been unfair), as much as i would have wanted it for lando
I do feel a bit for oscar, must hurt having this good of a race and not ending on the top step
charles_leclerc Siete i numeri 1 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Forza Ferrari ❤️
The difference between Lando and Oscar is; Lando will always put the team first and Oscar will always put himself first. And that’s been clear since the season started.
I think Lando should start being a little more selfish. 🩷
*update* andrea stella avoided answering if it was right of oscar to "make the move" and said they would review it and judge later + zak saying it was a "dangerous move/aggressive pass" and it almost gave them all a heart attack on the pit wall in post-race interviews.
this all tells me that mclaren wasn't so happy about oscar's move after all..
charles said "luckily i was past him by turn 5" about lando in a post-race interview. he knew fully well that this gained him an advantage in taking the win (charles fully deserved the win tho).
oscar saying it was a good & fair move + left enough space just isn't true. i take my last statement about him back.

"oscar piastri has no interest in lando's wdc" - martin brundle
no, he doesn't.
it's sad to know that lando would have taken this into consideration if it was the other way around.
"If i braked one minute later, we probably would've crashed" + "he got way too close for comfort" - lando
he knew it would've cost them the race so didn't risk it (which i admire him for).
lost respect for oscar on that one. yes, it's racing; but there was no need to make a move that dangerous to get a lead which resulted in charles getting past (ultimately gaining him the advantage of fighting for a win in the first lap).
"well done to oscar, he got past me, he deserves it" - lando
anyone else heard lando say "well done" to oscar in all of his post race interviews, way too much?
i know it's not in his nature; which i love about him, but he should consider not being nice to his competitors anymore, because they're all taking advantage of him (including oscar)
