it's pretty ironic, i wanted to make a post earlier today about how i don't understand why mclaren isn't choosing a number 1 driver.
i asked myself what the reason is; did mclaren not expect oscar to perform as well as he is? did they expect oscar to be better than lando in the long run? did they plan on prioritising either of their drivers if the circumstances were different?
turns out mclaren just thinks lando is... old?
what a joke, really. i disliked andrea stella for many reasons, but this one takes the cake.
lando is your future, andreas seidl knew that.
unlike andrea stella, andreas seidl supported both his drivers (no matter what or who) and didn't choose favourites, no matter who their "future" was.
andrea stella fucking over lando is showing his favouritism.. for a less experienced driver at that, whom (imo) isn't better than the more experienced one.
If you wanted to prioritise and focus on oscar all along, you should've told lando! don't make him sign a multi-year contract with your team.
let lando go somewhere where they will prioritise him, and take in a less talented driver/rookie instead so you can call oscar your n1 driver without causing this drama.
knowing full well the only reason this drama is happening, is because the better/more experienced driver is not andrea's favourite, instead he bullshit's about not wanting to prioritise one over the other.
yet, if the other/2nd driver wouldn't be better than oscar, andrea would've easily called oscar their n1 ages ago. he just can't do it because lando is better than he wants him to be.
Maybe someone can give me better context of this but “the future is Oscar’s” like lando is about to retire. what a shit thing to say about someone who still has probably 8+ years on the grid
Really feel like another Perez disaster class went under the radar today. Russell caught and passed him twice despite the front wing change and a slow pitstop, and Perez was still 15 seconds down the road from Max. Meanwhile Daniel drove a brilliant race to drag that tractor towards the points with 15 seconds of penalties (I also stand by the fact that his first lap incident wouldn't have been penalised if he wasn't in a midfield car!!)

Using this tiktok to write about Lando and McLaren. I'm so indignant of what is happening between them. Can't believe that they are wasting their only chance in years to win a wcc and a wdc because they believe Oscar is Formula One's future. After all these years that Lando has been with them and even choosing to stay with them when he had the chance to leave. Not saying that Oscar doesn't deserve to win, but if we recall when in Hungary, Lando had to give Oscar the position back and the team basically blackmailed Lando, saying that later on he would need Oscar for the wdc. I didn't see Oscar's help yesterday and don't think that we will ever see. Know that the team allowed them to race, but still, the team needs to step in and really make things clear between them both. The shitty "papaya rules" thing is a joke and there's no way that they are treating Lando like this. McLaren is known for damaging their driver's mental health just like they did to Daniel on 2022 and how they are doing with Lando's this year. He already has enough with social media and everyone can see how much he struggles through the radio messages during races, through post race conferences, through the cool down rooms, podiums and just by looking at him. He looks so mentally drained it hurts. Anyways, just wanted to talk about it a bit and want to see what are people's thoughts because here is the only place where I have seen that people is rational when stating their opinion.

Today though I showed my sister a picture of it and she said that it looks like a Gucci tracksuit. And I think that she is to 100% right. Worst part is I cannot unsee it for the life of mine.
Maybe I was wrong and it can't be worse because that resemblance alone uglyfies the suit by 10000😭
