Heyo there! I'm a scruffy-haired, quiet-mannered 4th year animation student from Ireland. I love drawing cute, colourful stuff, sipping tea, and snoozing all weekend. This is my artblog, wherein I periodically post digital 'n traditional artstuffs and follow lots of lovely, inspiring artists. they/them

Some More Oscillation Between Posting New And Old Stuff - This Time In The Form Of A Very Adventure Time-y

Some more oscillation between posting new and old stuff - this time in the form of a very Adventure Time-y card I made for a friend (also named Eoin!) who celebrated his birthday over the Christmas break!

Jareth David Bowie, shuffling prismatic spheres as Goblin Kings are wont to do!

Sherlocked! I stumbled across this little sketch last night while looking for material to put in my portfolio's digital doodle compilation page. I cleaned it up a bit, and I think it'll make the cut now. Cumberbatch's glorious cheekbones could cut anything. A side note; oh my goodness I'm nervous about this portfolio assessment stuff. I'm applying to IADT's animation course and they'll be making their decision about me on Wednesday. There's a dizzy blend of terrified and optimistic anxiety going on in my brain chemicals right now. *clutches knees to chest and rocks back and forth in place*

I posted something old yesterday, so now I'll start off the New Year with some new art! Here's a Homestuck-themed Christmas card I drew for my friend Maggie (who is a fantastic artist and person, and you should go look at her artblog right now because whoooa, super-talented drawing!), featuring everyone's favourite vibrantly-dressed aquatic-creature-nursing teenage alien monarch, Feferi Piexes! ...and also Eridan or wwhatevver. The thing about Homestuck is that it's the best. Also I need to finish reading Act 6 before the gigapause ends!

Here's a model sheet for a fellow who appears in a storyboard I've been putting together. I think he might be called Alston, or possibly Poe? He doesn't get referred to by name, so I haven't quite figured out that detail. He's amiable, easily embarrassed, slightly smartly-dressed, and unfortunately ends up quite heart-broken. Sorry, guy! I wish things didn't have to be so tragic, but my hands are tied. D:

I began the second year of my animation studies this week! I'm so excited about learning new stuffs and hopefully getting more comfortable with character animation. Here's my first Flash assignment; a delighted and decidedly spherical bun'! :3
