There were two terrorists the day Newgrounds fell. While the news stories described them as “twins” or “the duo”, they were different as night and day. 

They rarely saw the one they called The Chosen One. He stalked through the carnage, a wraith among the shadows. His mouth hung open, smoke billowing from it and wreathing his head like an unholy halo. The only clear sight through the haze was the two piercing eyes, leftover from laser burn. He would not hurt them. Destroy their homes, yes. Chase them away with spears of ice, yes. But he would never touch them. 

They prayed that they’d never come across The Dark Lord. He stood atop the website’s banner like a conquering king, backed by the fire he wielded. His cackling laughter mixed with the sizzle-snap of the flames, and he smiled as he wrought destruction. 

In the end, it was The Chosen One who ended it– dragging his companion back to the hole they crawled out of.  And then they disappeared. Leaving everyone else to pick up the pieces. 

People who hate one of the Matsus specifically are annoying as fuck tbh. They're ALL shitty, whoever you hate isn't worse. That's the point. They're all flawed but likeable characters.
