That time of the year again where I draw the same thing to track my progress

I learn that I really need to learn how to draw trees lmao

Also drawing a face from an oblique view is h a r d. Overall, glad I can see improvement :)

Ya girl finally draws Raven in full colour a year later

This is probably gonna be a reoccurring theme here lads. Start getting used to it 😂

Jokes aside, I did spend most of said past year trying to figure out her colors. I wanted her to remain faithful to bf2 Summoner being a fire unit but also explore more funky eye colours. I eventually came to this after playing around with colour comp for a bit. I think its nice to have some warmer tones to my character designs to contrast both Eun and Sky who have cooler colour palletes :)

Genshin OC: Qingyan (青艳) 🎋

Genshin Impact splash art is death I will not lie. Manually drawing every bit of bamboo itself was tedious but I'm glad I did it. At the cost of my own suffering lmao 😂

The dendro symbol is nowhere near close to the other element symbols but oh well. Also spent an AGE finding the wish background and the font

Special dish: Sweetflower cake (Inspired by Osmanthus cake)

Standard Attack - “Painterly Motion”

Default attack consisting of 6 sweeping motions, dealing damage to enemies. When charged, Qingyan dashes forwards and sweeps enemies in one swipe of her spear.

Skill - “Painted Forest”

Used normally, Qingyan uses her spear to Sweep up her enemies, leaving a small trail of bamboo in her wake. When charged, her bamboo will spread further outwards from her position dealing more damage

Ult Skill - "Art of Secrets”

When using her ult Qingyan will slam her spear on the ground, causing tall bamboo to sprout up circling her, launching enemies in their air dealing AOE damage all while protecting herself. Boosts attack and attack speed for a limited amount of time.

Story Intro:

As one of Liyue's renowned painters and calligraphers, Qingyan's works are sought out far and wide. Renowned works that are second to none, her commissions never come cheap. Often found in her studio working away or even out looking for inspiration, Qingyan only wishes to hone her skills as an artist and calligrapher.

However, her reputation doesn't just stop there. The locals of Liyue also know Qingyan to have a vast knowledge of just about any rumour and secret of anyone and anything in Liyue Harbour. Yet once these secrets and rumours fall to her ears, Qingyan will never spread a word about it. Because of this, she is also known as the 'Keeper of Secrets'.

Genshin Traveler OC ✨

Been a hot while since I've done a full coloured traditional piece but ya girl fell down the Genshin rabbit hole and so my brain went and said "Haha OC creation goes brrr"

So meet Rue. A Traveler trying to find her older twin brother and find some answers about her sealed powers while traveling across Teyvat with (emergency food) Paimon.

Rue is a pro at bluffing on the spot from her travels and finds joy in traveling around Teyvat with Paimon. Will help people when they really need it but doesn't like having other people's responsibility thrown on her eg: the one commission where you need to count boats in Liyue. Is low-key a stickler for treasure and will pay more attention if treasure is included in the endgame. While she is a sticker for treasure, Rue doesn't let it show as much unlike Paimon who tends to let it show more. Rue does sort of suck at cooking but with Paimon's guidance, she can make decent dishes.

That's all I have thought of for Rue but I'll eventually make an info doc for her when I have the time to or, you can just ask me more about Rue over on my personal Tumblr @eunique

I wanted to keep aspects of Lumine's outfit when I thought about Rue's and I originally had a dress going for her before opting for pants after four attempts drawing a fullbody version of Rue with the first design I thought I would settle on. I also added a bit more armor to the design because I think it looks cool :')
