Hey everyone! I apologize for the long hiatus but I only got my car back yesterday, after two fucking months lmao. fun fact, the body shop told me I was going to get my car and then said oops actually you're not on 4 separate occasions

anyway, i managed to finish up chapter 5 today! i hope you guys like it :)) i'm working on chapter 6 now although it probably won't come out for another couple of days.

additionally, the tag list is now closed. I'm sorry if it's still not working on the posts, I'm not really sure why it's not, but it's gotten pretty long so I've decided to close it.

Hi! Yes, the story is still going to continue. I have a lot going on in my life rn and not much time/ability to write, so the story will be taking an approximately 2 week hiatus, but I'm hoping to have 2 new chapters posted simultaneously after that. I’m so in love with the oc. I get how the more reserved protagonists aren’t usually people’s favorites, but I adore her and she’s so sweet and I can only wish her the happiest of endings.

I will say I appreciate the progression of both character so far as it’s not too fast or too slow and everyone is really well written and I’m so invested I was literally thinking when was the next chapter earlier today.

For me, I enjoy a more reserved character because I find them more relatable and grounded, like they reflect the spectrum and confusion of human emotions much more accurately than characters who are less reserved. One of my main goals for this MC was that I wanted her to be reserved and relatable yet not a pushover so I hope that came across!

I'm so glad you're (slowly) coming around on Yoongi in this story! I know a lot of arranged marriage aus have the husband be a literal piece of shit and then they get forgiven but I wanted Yoongi in this story to be more rounded, not necessarily likeable but you can understand where he's coming from. He's definitely going to he getting more development!!
