I like keeping them at the end bc they feel like a little bonus and you get to see what he was thinking throughout the chapter and some secret stuff he did, kinda like clips after the credits in shows that have Easter eggs but rest assured, we'll be getting more of his perspective at the end of the chapters as he reflects

what song from RPWP fits the image/aesthetic of Single Daffodil Yoongi to you??? I was re-reading chapter 3-4 while listening to the album & that's the only thing i could think about hehe

I'll be so honest, I haven't actually listened to the album yet! I kind of stopped listening to a lot of the new kpop stuff because I found it a bit mentally draining, but if I did have to put a song (not from RPWP) it'd probably be People off the D2 album.

I think it's a good representation of how the Yoongi I wrote just wants a normal life where he's not forced to live the life his parents want. I think it also does a good job of talking about his relationship with people, they're kind of just passing by around him and he finds it difficult to make real connections, and people end up misjudging him all the time.

I think I would also relate it to how he's not exactly a bad or good person, or at least that's how I tried to portray him. He doesn't want to be mean to the MC, but he wants to stay separated from her, so he tries to give her the same privileges he wants for himself, ie privacy, an open relationship, freedom etc. I really wanted my story to be different from other arranged marriages where I didn't want yoongi to be an outright asshole, I wanted people to understand where he was coming from. I also wanted him to have an organic relationship development with the MC, where the attraction starts as only physical but slowly develops to emotional.

Anyway, sorry for the rant and I know it wasn't exactly the answer you were looking for, but I hope you liked what I had! Thanks so much for reading and im so happy you're enjoying the story and relating it to other things outside of it, I love to see people engaging with my work like that.

Oh my goodness this is so sweet!! I've been okay! I finally got the estimated completion date on my car (the 26th) so I'll finally be back at my apartment then which means a lot more time to write! My job is alright too but I kinda feel like I'm cosplaying as a corporate adult 💀
