☾ OIKAWA laughs as he makes a face at the child in the restaurant, heart warming when the same child lets out a cheerful laugh before clapping their tiny hands, his eyes flicking to you as he notices the way your eyes are instead locked on him - your chin in your palm and your lips upturned and he swears he feels his heart stutter, imagining that same look of love as it grabbed for him from your chest - chestnut eyes like his but there’s a fire in them like yours. his heart rate quickening at the thought of three dinner plates at the table instead of the usual two, tiny fingers clasped around the ring on his fourth finger - forever, he thinks. that same childish giggle from the table over bringing him back to reality as he smiles back at you, hand reaching for yours over the table as he imagines how a giggle similar would sound mixed with yours.

☾ IWAIZUMI feels his cheeks flush as he looks down at the child wrapped around his leg, he chuckles as their mother approaches from behind and apologises before lifting their son from his leg “you alright there big guy?” theres a teasing tone to your question, probably noticing the dusting of pink on his cheeks but he doesn’t mind, because he knows if he turns around he’ll be met with a familiar grin as you try to stifle your laugh but he’s always thought the image looked a lot like love, iwaizumi feels himself flush brighter because maybe it’s that imagine that helps him realise that he hoped his future looked a lot like that, like you - a toothy grin similar to your own except smaller as it clings to his leg, you being the one to pick them up but instead of an apology there’s an “i love you.” and a smile, and as he turns to be met with that same one - he can only think it looks like forever.

☾ SAKUSA watched you sway with your neice, your eyes a little tired from baby sitting but there was a softness that seemed to follow you - smile gentle, humming a love song that hes sure was the one that was playing on the radio during breakfast this morning, but he thinks he prefers the way it sounds like this. your eyes meet his as you giggle, offering him the baby as you watch the panic in his face for a moment before it’s replaced, he’d decline but he knows you’d smile and he’d melt again, just like he always did. his hands uncharacteristically shaky as he reaches for the baby, shuffling to get comfortable as he looks at you - is this okay? but when he sees that smile that still makes his cheeks flush he knows it’s better than that. looking at the child in his arms and then back at you - he can’t help but agree that maybe this, felt just like it was supposed to.

☾ KUROO smirks as he watches you grin at the baby infront of you two at the store, a childish giggle ringing through the air and his heart warms because yours follows. his thoughts moving to a house, no - a home, probably one too many pillows on the bed but its fine because at that moments it’s a bed for three, three sets of kitten slippers tossed haphazardly to the side, one pair half the size of the other two and again, his heart warms - probably some kids show on the tv but hes watching you, smiling just like you are now with his child, your child on your lap, amber eyes, another childish giggle and then again comes yours but this time it’s his own that follows. his own heart beat bringing him back as you smile up at him “everything okay tetsu?” his smirk reappearing, wobblier this time, laced with teasing but also love “everything’s perfect kitten.”
