Winter Wonderland

MHA Chapter 364 spoiler after the read more!

Shinya is bound to the wheelchair and Tsunagu smashes all his worries about their relationship with gentle love and hot chocolate Hurt/Comfort, Fluff, Angst

The winter was awfully cold this year, and the freezing air made Tsunagu scrunch his nose in discomfort. It was snowing, it had been for days, and it felt like a miracle that it had started the day his husband’s release from the hospital had been approved. He had needed to stay there a bit longer still, but the moment had finally come.

Almost two months after he had risked his life for the young man who should have been saved by Tsunagu himself, but it was Shinya’s quirk that had made it possible. It was his husband who had risked his life just to save a promising soon-to-be hero he didn’t even know that well. Not as well as Tsunagu did at least, after taking him under his wing. Despite all odds, however, the other had survived his risky mission. He had lost his ability to walk, after using up too many of his nerves, and was missing a kidney, but he was alive.

Alive and tired and filled with guilt and fear about their relationship. Tsunagu had needed a long time to assure him that none of this changed his feelings for him; if anything, this selfless act only made his love deeper. It had started way back when they were just students, and lasted through so many of their worries; like Shinya’s transition, his struggles to get hormones and surgeries, the financial struggles they had gone through together, and all the worries Tsunagu had held when opening his agency.

He even remembered vividly how nervous the two of them had been the night before their wedding, but even then there hadn’t been a single trace of doubt that this man was who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Even if he was bound to a wheelchair now. All that mattered to the denim hero was that he had not lost him. That he would still wake up with him, and kiss him, and hear his laugh.

Gently, he brushed off some snow from Shinya’s hair and took off the hat he had been wearing. He stopped pushing the wheelchair, and crouched down to put it on the other’s head:

“Are you warm enough, my little fiber?”

The smaller man’s eyes looked teary, and it broke the denim hero’s heart. He softly took the other’s hands, squeezing them reassuringly; they were warm, much warmer than his own, and his heart skipped a beat with the joy of still being able to hold them:

“What’s wrong, love?”

“Nothing is wrong, dear. Everything is.. overwhelming. I am so happy. And scared. And grateful that you want to stay with me. I’m just feeling too much.”

He explained, cupping Tsunagu’s hands to gently blow warm breath on them. It was something he had been doing ever since they’d started dating, and one of their favorite moments of winter. It was caring and affectionate and assuring. The taller one smiled and brought Shinya’s knuckles up to his covered lips, in a gentle kissing gesture:

“My mind was flashing with fear of having to attend your funeral. I was fully prepared to keep my promise of still loving you if you were a worm and carrying you around in my chest pocket. Shinya, staying with you will never be compromised by anything. Especially not injuries. I’m your husband. I married you as a promise to always be by your side no matter what. I know you’re scared about so many things right now, and I know I can’t soothe all of those fears, but I want to assure you that my love for you runs much deeper than you might think right now. I’m just so happy I didn’t lose you.”

Tears were now running down his husband’s cheeks, and they must have been cold with the air and snow, so Tsunagu wiped them away, brushing his thumbs over Shinya's cheeks for as long as it took him to stop crying:

“Can I kiss you?”

“Yes please.”

Tsunagu pulled him closer and if his words hadn’t been assuring enough, this kiss simply had to be; it was long and emotional and likely the happiest one they had ever shared. Happier than their first one and happier than their wedding kiss because it held so much assurance; for Shinya that he really meant what he said, and for Tsunagu that the other kissed him back and hadn’t given up on the relationship:

“You are the most amazing man I have ever met, you are so beautiful and caring and brave. And I know you’re scared about not being able to continue being a hero, but you will always be the most amazing hero in my heart. What you did, and what you risked, is the most heroic thing anyone could ever do. And I will never stop admiring you.”

And for the first time in weeks, a smile formed on the younger one’s face; a smile that could melt anyone’s heart in seconds:

“I love you. I love you so so incredibly much.”

“I love you too, my thread, more than I could ever say.”

Tsunagu straightened up, and smiled back at the other in awe:

“How about we buy a hot chocolate on the way home, how would you feel about that?”

The cocoa they bought tasted like heaven and it almost made the two of them cry again at the happiness of being able to enjoy it together. It was hot and smooth and had a hint of cinnamon and orange. The stand they had gotten it from had been there for as long as they could remember, and had never failed to make them feel better:

“Do you remember when we used to drink this, when we were Lightningstorm’s sidekicks? Right after I graduated? It was when I just started my transition.”

“I do remember. And when my first sidekick went to another agency and I felt so self-conscious.”

They chuckled, realizing just how many memories this hot chocolate held. It was assuring and like a dream to think about how many more they would form over it. Of course, there would be dreams and plans they would have to change, but none of that mattered. Tsunagu didn’t care if the other would never be a hero again. Or if he would depend on him. He was ready to retire if he needed, to dedicate his days to taking care of his most loved one.

All the tension from the past weeks and months seemed to have disappeared with the sweet, warm drink they drank at their favorite meeting spot; from there, they could see far across the sea, watching some few particularly thick-skinned souls swimming and surfing. It seemed ridiculous to Jeanist, who pulled his coat tighter around himself, but it was a nice and calm view.

Soft pressure on his thigh disrupted his thought and when he looked down, his husband had his head leaned against him, giving him the same look he always gave when wanting affection and cuddles. Tsunagu slipped off the hat and let his fingers run through the younger one's hair, caressing his scalp, weirdly amused by how oily it was:

“Waited for me to wash your hair, love?”

Soft pink tinted Shinya’s cheeks as he nodded slowly; they had offered to wash it at the hospital, but he had refused. It had been a long time since anyone but Tsunagu or himself had even touched it, and it had become much more intimate over the years. The same went for seeing the blonde with messy hair; it was something treasured and something that only really happened between the two of them.

“Are you comfortable- can we take a bath together later? I’m tired and you’re like a denim icicle. A jicicle.”

The laugh that erupted from Tsuangu was sudden and it slightly startled Shinya, who started to laugh as well after the shock wore off:

“It wasn’t that funny!”

“Oh yes it was, my precious cotton heart, I’m glad you can still joke.”

Both of them knew that there would be many things to talk about, on how to proceed and how to live through and cope with everything life had thrown in their way. But those things were nothing that couldn’t be talked about the next day.

They had promised a lifetime to each other after all, and this was nothing anything but death could ever change. And given how narrowly both of them had avoided death’s kiss on more than one occasion, this would not be the case for a long time.

Tsunagu pulled down his scarf and grabbed Shinya’s face for another long but gentle kiss before giving the reply he’d been waiting for:

“I would love nothing more than that.”

Thanks to the lies you told

Edgeshot x Best Jeanist soulmate AU where your soulmate's lies appear on your arm Angst with happy ending

„Jeanist, slow DOWN where are we even going?!”

Hawks half-screamed as he clung to the handle for dear life. Tsunagu was going at least 20 over the speed limit, but it was an emergency. He held out his arm for the other to read what stood written on it:

I only work with Best Jeanist I don’t even know him that well. I don’t even particularly like him.

It was a strange thing for Shinya to lie about, usually, he would simply say that they weren’t a couple if anyone who wasn’t supposed to know asked. He was scared to speak, worried that whatever situation Edgeshot was in would be made worse by badly chosen words. It was hard to remember not to tell even the smallest lie as it would immediately appear on his lover’s arm.

“I think Edge is in trouble.”

Nothing else left his lips and Keigo nodded in understanding:

“Well then, we should get there right away. Do you know where he might be? You can just tap for yes or no if you prefer not taking the risk of speaking. Just tap once for no, twice for yes.

Two taps on the stirring wheel.

“Okay. Do you know it based on lies Edgeshot has told? Did he mention names?”

Two taps. Pause. One tap. Keigo sighed as he sat more comfortably in the passenger’s seat. He asked more questions, like some sort of guessing game as he went through the details to come up with a plan. An abandoned factory. A big one most likely. Or at least not small. With many potential places to lurk on rescuers in the shadows. But lies could have different truths contradicting them; just because there was more than one criminal still didn’t tell them how many there were; it could be two or ten or hundreds. But that didn’t seem to matter to Jeanist and what kinds of heroes would they be if they couldn’t take on multiple criminals together?

“Did you at least inform the others? Kamui? Mt Lady?”

“I did.”

Shit. That was a lie. He had informed Kamui but not Mt Lady. He was sure it wouldn’t uncover their plan to whoever had his boyfriend, but he still would have preferred not giving them anything.

“Hey, Jeanist... check your arm.”

Keigo suddenly said, and Tsunagu’s eyes widened slightly at what he read:

I could just use my quirk at any time and get out myself. I’m not scared of you.

So he was unable to use his quirk. And he was scared. Edgeshot, one of the calmest men of all the heroes, was scared. Tsunagu’s knuckles turned white at how firmly he was gripping the stirring wheel and took a sharp turn that slammed Keigo into the door:

“Stop doing that!”

He looked at his colleague, squinting at the pure worry, disdain, and anger he saw in his eyes. It wasn’t an anger he’d ever let out, but it was there, and it would make him take any risk at all to handle the situation. Keigo reached over, softly pulling down the denim hero’s sleeve:

“Let’s keep this covered until we arrive, mh? We can see there if we got any more information. I need you to calm down and take this situation with caution.”

With a deep sigh, Tsunagu nodded and concentrated on the road instead. So many things wanted to run through his head, wanted to show him pictures of Edgeshot, Shinya, being tortured in so many possible ways, but he knew it didn’t help. He couldn’t know for sure until they arrived. So as long as he could just feel the soft tingling of new words appearing on his arm, he knew that Shinya was alive. Perhaps not okay. But alive.

The road felt impossibly long, almost like they were driving for hours even though the car’s clock only showed an advancement of 24 minutes from when they had left Keigo’s place. The factory was in the middle of a sea of beautiful golden wheat and for a moment Tsunagu thought about taking a walk there with Shinya. He would, he decided, as soon as the other was rescued and as soon as this place was secured. When a hero got into trouble, they had to be considered a victim. That’s what he had learned in class years ago, and so the other heroes had to come to their rescue. Time to be heroes. Jeanist slammed the door shut and fixed his hair:

“You came up with a plan, Hawks?”

“Well, I first texted Kamui and he should be here soon, he’s bringing help. We should check out how many people there are. I can do that.”

“Thank you, Hawks.”

Hawks disappeared into the air quicker than Jeanist could notice, flying up to look down into one of the windows. In the meanwhile, the taller one kept an eye out for anyone who might be keeping watch outside the building but couldn’t see anyone. It seemed strange to not have people outside and he wondered if it was a trap. Hawks whistled, catching his attention again; he held up 5 fingers.

5 kidnappers. And no outside security? And Edgeshot being scared. It didn’t take a genius to conclude that those people must have been dangerous. Hawks rejoined him on the ground:

“Don’t freak out. But Edge is hurt. I can’t tell now badly, but he is bleeding.”

It wasn’t something Jeanist hadn’t expected, but something he had hoped for not to happen. He rolled up his sleeve again, checking for any more clues or help.

Heh. That punch didn’t even hurt.

“Stop provoking them...”

Jeanist mumbled and shook his head to clear his mind:

“Did you see their quirks? Any quirk like Eraser’s? Why can’t Edge use his?”

“Likely a drug. They don’t seem too famous so probably just a cheap one. Temporary.”

This was relieving to hear but it didn’t mean it wasn’t just as bad. Not only were those drugs illegal, but hardly anyone knew what side effects they had. 5 people. That had to be doable. Maybe they weren’t that dangerous at all but that wasn’t a possibility that could be trusted.

“One of them has a crab quirk and another seems to have some strength or punching quirk. I didn’t see more for the others. “

Hawks admitted, putting his hands in his pockets:

“It doesn’t seem like they noticed us. I think it’s best to wait for Kamui.

Just as Jeanist was about to agree, they saw the wood hero in the close distance, accompanied by, surprisingly, nobody.

“Talk of the devil!”

Hawks snorted as he waved at him.

I don’t think anyone is coming. As a hero, you have to be able to fend for yourself.

Despite knowing it was only lies written on his arm, this statement hurt just as much as reading Edgeshot say he “didn’t even like him that much”. It was like a needle piercing Jeanist’s heart even though he knew it wasn’t true. Edgeshot knew they would try to save him. They /would/ save him.

“Do we have a plan?”

Kamui asked as he joined the two of them at last, and crossed his arms, looking at the two in question.

“Well… not directly except “go inside and see how it goes”. But did you not bring any backup?”

“I did. They’re waiting they will come when I press this little button.”

He held up a little device, one that would notify the waiting pro-heroes if they needed help:

“I brought Fat Gum and Death Arms and others are informed as well. Just in case.”

Jeanist nodded, grateful for his colleagues’ good planning. He felt bad for neglecting it, knowing he shouldn’t just because Edgeshot was his boyfriend. Sometimes it was hard to separate between work and private life. Yet he was glad he got help in the first place instead of just going on his own. He really needed to pull himself together now, it wouldn’t help Shinya at all if he rushed anything now.

The trio checked once more for people lurking outside the building and approached the front door when they verified that there was indeed nobody to worry about there. They were quiet as Hawks broke the lock with one of his feathers; it merely clicked and was only audible if you really concentrated on it. He was amazingly stealthy and skilled in using them.

The entrance and hallway were broad and each of their steps threatened to echo dangerously and alarm the criminals in the main hall. So, they only got along slowly, but at least the emptiness left no space for anyone to hide and attack. Unless they had an invisibility quirk and so they stayed aware of their surroundings. Soon, voices could be heard from behind a slightly open door, which they silently agreed to eavesdrop on first.

There seemed to be one person who was the main talker, perhaps the leader of the gang, who was speaking about disobedience and “just wanting to know some little facts” about ongoing operations and plans. Followed by the shivering voice of Edgeshot’s brief, untruthful, or provocative responses and it became clear just from that shiver as he spoke that saying anything seemed safer than staying silent which would have been his natural reaction. It was an exhausted shiver; he was in pain for sure but was trying hard to keep his composure. Passing out on people who wanted to keep you talking was more dangerous than the risk of saying something wrong at the moment. And they didn’t have him far enough to let his tongue slip yet. Not even close.

The three jumped as a disgusting, cracking sound filled the air and Edgeshot groaned.

“Hey, hey, now don’t break his jaw he needs it to talk you idiot! If you don’t talk soon, we might have to break more than your teeth.”

The leader said and it made Jeanist grind his own teeth.

“I don’t know any of the information you’re asking about.”

Another slight tingle on Jeanist’s arm which he softly caressed for a moment. He lurked inside the room now, seeing the crab man, with gigantic claws for arms he didn’t doubt they’d use on Edgeshot as well if needed and given the chance. The man standing right in front of him was probably the one with the strength quirk, he cracked his knuckles and Jeanist closed his eyes as he went for another punch. His boyfriend had undoubtedly been through worse than this but to stand and watch him get beaten wasn’t something he was willing to do. The other three people’s quirk wasn’t clear, it could have been anything and for the time the three stood and observed only one showed off hers; it seemed like she could grow her fingernails at will, into long sharp claws and was doing it out of boredom at the moment. No, not boredom. /Anticipation/. She was impatient to use them on Edgeshot. Jeanist was hit by the realization that the 5 didn’t belong together; the leader must have taken criminals with an eagerness to blow off their steam on some hero while he got the information he wanted.

“I think they don’t belong together. They likely won’t be communicating with each other well.”

He whispered to his colleagues, and they nodded in agreement. Whether it was because they had observed the same or because they simply trusted Jeanist’s observation didn’t matter. What mattered was that this knowledge increased their chances of success.

“I’ll take care of Miss needs-a-manicure, and the leader, Jeanist can you take the strength one? Kamui, try to restrain the other two. We should be able to keep them under control and call help in time just in case we struggle.”

Hawks suggested, nodding in the direction of the door as he raised three fingers, lowering them one by one as a silent countdown. Then time seemed to freeze as they stormed the room; it always felt this way to Jeanist when he entered a fight like the world was moving much too slowly, like he needed to go faster. He blamed it on the adrenaline that rushed through him with each new fight, but it helped him stay aware and make thought-through decisions.

The criminals turned around, clearly surprised at the sudden infiltration, and immediately began defending themselves; the one who had been beating Edgeshot kicked the chair he was tied to hard, causing it to be knocked over almost faster than Jeanist could react. But he caught the other hero with his quirk, bringing him out of the way of the fight. With the other, he tried holding onto the other man and keep him restrained; but as expected, it wasn’t that easy. He broke free fast, merely smirking as he approached Jeanist only to be trapped with stronger and tighter threads. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw his colleagues struggle with their respective opponents. He jumped up to a higher position, landing gracefully on one of the pipes.

It seemed strange that his prisoner had stopped resisting but as he heard Kamui yelp in pain merely a moment before his own shoulder got dislocated, he understood why. A speed quirk or something of the sort, he figured, completely ignoring the pain, and made up for the loss of this arm by putting more strain on his other hand.

Jeanist heard a quiet beeping sound and knew Kamui had called for help like he had said. Now it was only a matter of staying unharmed and keeping Edgeshot safe.

“Hawks-!”

He started shouting, but his colleague was already sending out his feathers to try and stop or at least slow down this opponent. It was hard to keep track of him, but Hawks seemed to have little struggle with it. He wasn’t able to touch him quite yet, but following the movement of his bright red feathers was much easier to make out the location.

“Edge!! Can you use your quirk?”

No response. Either he had passed out or hadn’t heard him. Likely the latter as the sound of the woman’s yell broke through; it was shrill, and Jeanist wasn’t sure what had happened. Likely a failed attempt at distracting him, but he didn’t call out to his boyfriend again. His opponent had freed himself once more and stomped over to the chair; stopped by a bullet lodging itself into his leg.

“Clever to bring him!”

Hawks praised Kamui, referring to Snipe, who, despite not quite being there yet, was able to use his quirk. The moment was perfect to get a hold of the man again and pull him back from Edgeshot:

“You are /not/ going near him!”

He dodged another attack from the one who had dislodged his shoulder and rejoined his colleagues on the ground. The fifth criminal seemed to have given up. He wasn’t resisting Kamui’s Lacquered Chain Prison and that was why he was paying closer attention to him than the crab guy who was actively trying to free his claws.

It didn’t take too long until more heroes came for help, namely Fat Gum, who wrung his way through to Shinya to cover him, and Death Arms who saw the difficulty and helped with the crab criminal. Even he grunted in effort trying to knock him out.

The fifth guy moved a little too abruptly for the strong man’s liking and was promptly knocked unconscious before he could so much as think about using his quirk. Now that Edgeshot was being covered by Fat Gum, it was easier to fight. Another scream echoed off the walls, followed by a victorious “Hah!” from Hawks, who had finally hit the man bouncing off the walls in his immensely fast way, and gotten him to fall.

“Kamui, can you take this one too?”

After short acknowledgment, Jeanist took his hand off the man he was keeping trapped, redirecting it to the other one. His hand hurt from the amount of force he had to apply, and he was beginning to develop a headache. It was safe enough to throw a quick glance over to Edgeshot again; Fat Gum was checking him over, apparently not too concerned and that was all Jeanist needed to know. The all too familiar tingle on his arm assured him that the man was awake, but he had no time to look at what lie he had told at that moment.

Soon, more people stormed in, to properly arrest and restrain the criminals, all in ways that best fit their quirks to keep them under control. One of the policewomen started talking to Jeanist, wanting to clear up the circumstances and what had happened, but Hawks quickly chimed in:

“I’ll talk to them. Go check on the damsel in distress.”

The denim hero gave a thankful nod, impatiently rushing over to Edgeshot and tearing off his restraints with his quirk. Fat Gum informed him that the other wasn’t fatally hurt, not from what he could tell at least, and was conscious and responsive. He then left as well, to give directions to the paramedics that were waiting outside. It marked the end of the fight for now, and Tsunagu put a hand on Shinya’s cheek:

“My little thread, are you with me?”

A bloody smile formed on his boyfriend’s face, as he finally raised his head; he had a bad black eye, missing teeth, and what looked like a broken nose. With the strength of the criminal, it wouldn’t have been a surprise if he had had more fractures. His voice was slightly strained as he spoke, which clearly took him a great deal of effort:

“Not for long I’m afraid, love.”

“That’s okay. I’m here. You’re safe, and we’ll bring you to the hospital.”

But Shinya had already slumped forward against his torso in the middle of the sentence, with raspy breaths and Tsunagu just ran his fingers through his hair for a moment. Then it was time to leave, and with the help of his quirk, he gently and carefully took the ninja hero along to hand him over to the paramedics. All the participants of the fight were quickly checked over for injuries and one of the medical staff made quick work of putting his shoulder back into place. The noise of it was disgusting and it hurt, but the pain quickly faded.

“I’ll accompany him to the hospital.”

He announced, tossing Hawks his keys:

“Would you mind taking my car home in the meantime? I trust you won’t crash it within the first five minutes.”

“Nice! Nope, but within ten.”

His colleague replied with a cheeky grin that made him roll his eyes with a sigh. It wasn’t that he didn’t find the remark funny, but at that moment he was still too worried about Shinya to laugh about it.

“If the police don’t need you anymore, we’d get going now, Best Jeanist.”

The driver of the ambulance said, and Tsunagu nodded:

“Yes, I’m coming. I’ll text you later, Hawks. Tell Kamui and the others I appreciate their help.”

With that, he climbed into the vehicle, assigned by the paramedics to a place where he would not sit in their way. He even got to hold his boyfriend’s hand and he held it with so much care as if he might break it if he was too rough. His thumb stroked over the other’s palm and the last lie he had spoken came back to his mind, so he rolled up his sleeve:

I doubt Jeanist has time to worry, he is too busy fighting.

Of course, he had known that Tsunagu would always be worried about his well-being, no matter how hard he was concentrating on doing his job as a hero. It wouldn’t affect his feelings just the same way his feelings wouldn’t affect his work. These two things co-existed, often in an overlap, but as a professional, he could keep them separate in his actions.

One of the paramedics dabbed cotton pads drenched with alcohol on the smaller scratches on Shinya’s face, causing him to unconsciously squeeze his hand a little.

“They’re just cleaning your wounds, Shi, it’s alright.”

It was calmingly quiet, and the lack of the all-too-familiar ambulance siren was a blessing. Every now and then his boyfriend would stir or make a small noise, or the paramedics would go around and attend to him.

Everything seemed perfectly fine, until upon entering the hospital, Shinya suddenly shot upright and threw up. The staff didn’t lose any time, rushing him to one of the rooms and Tsunagu was quickly informed he would need to wait while they checked for brain damage. It made his heart beat so loudly he could barely hear anything else, and he couldn’t help but pace back and forth for what felt like an eternity. Nervously, he played around on his sleeves with his quirk, disassembling and reassembling them before he went on to biting his nails; a habit he had quit years ago but that would come back every once in a while when he was particularly stressed. This “eternity” in reality took no longer than roughly 20 minutes. Then the door opened, and the doctor brought out the other man again, who had a faint smile on his lips when he saw him. Tsunagu smiled back, in relief and happiness to see him alright as the doctor started to speak:

“He’s concussed, we’d like to keep him here for a few days just to be sure. But other than that, he should make a fast recovery. His quirk should also start to work again soon, we detected a weak form of a quirk-erasing drug. Nothing to be worried about.”

She explained and Shinya chuckled:

“Yeah, plus I feel much better after vomiting my guts out.”

Tsunagu rolled his eyes with an amused huff and said he was glad about that. The doctor brought them to a room, a private one which was one of the government-paid benefits of being a pro hero. The sun was high in the sky and up until now he wasn’t aware of how hungry he was; he had skipped breakfast at the first feeling of something being wrong when he woke up without his boyfriend by his side and altogether hadn’t eaten since dinner the day before.

“I’ll have someone bring you two food. Mr. Kamihara can eat if he feels like it but take it slow. And if your headache or nausea gets worse or you need anything, please inform someone. The visitation time /officially/ ends at 7 pm, Mr. Hakamada, in case you are one of the few partners that care.”

She winked and disappeared into the hallway. Seconds later, Shinya started to shift around a bit, scooting over to one side of the bed and patted the empty spot next to him:

“I want cuddles please I didn’t get them after my very much annoying night shift.”

“Ah, well if you join five strangers in an abandoned factory without telling me I can’t provide cuddles very well.”

Tsunagu mused, laying down carefully next to his very messy-looking ninja-worm lover. He put a hand on his cheek and pulled him in for a loving kiss.

“Eww Tsu, I barely rinsed my mouth out!”

“Ah, that bit of blood and puke taste is nothing compared to your cooking last week.”

The other punched him lightly at the memory of his accidental mess-up of over-seasoned and undercooked pasta. Still, he had eaten the whole plate without a single complaint.

“I told you you could stop eating.”

“I didn’t want to after you took the time to cook it. So let me kiss you since I took the time to save you~”

They shared another, shorter kiss before Shinya rested his head on Tsunagu’s shoulder and closed his eyes:

“I’m a bit dizzy and tired, Tsu, will you stay?”

“Of course, I will my soft little fiber. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

With that, he fell asleep and although he himself wanted to wait for the food, couldn’t help but give in to a comfortable nap with the person he loved most.
