IMAGINE → taking an impromptu trip with blaise to your hometown in america and watching the fourth of july fireworks with him.

     “c’mon!” you laughed, dragging him further down the boardwalk. 

     “jeez… y/n, y’know, america’s independence day is not something we typically celebrate in london.” he groaned sarcastically, far less enthusiastic than you were about the fireworks. you had dressed him up in red, white, and blue, and even tried getting him to try and talk with a generic, southern accent (which he failed at miserably). you rolled your eyes and brought him to the edge of the pier, leaning over it and waiting for the fireworks to begin.

     as they started, blaise couldn’t help but turn his attention away from them, looking at you instead. the colorful fireworks illuminated your smiling face and the ocean breeze was blowing your hair. blaise’s heart skipped a beat at the sight. you were perfect, his other half. at this moment blaise realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you.

     “aren’t they pretty?” you asked in awe. he never tore his eyes away from you.

     “yea. yea, they are.” he smiled.

     “i love you, blaise.” you turned your head to face him, smiling softly.

    “i love you too.”
