so the starkid concert was lifechanging obviously, but real ones were also there to witness the Grandpa and Cornwallis reunion in the middle of Five Guys

This is what I have so far, based only on what has been given to us in the lyrics of the three episodes. I tried to do the math based on those lyrical clues and therefore may have the timescale wrong in some places! This is a helpful tool if you're listening for the first time and struggling with time scale, or if you're theorizing and need something to refer to.

I'd call it a general overview, and I'm always looking for ways to fix it, add to it, make it a little more comprehensive so please- in the notes if you have any amendments!

So I'm reading the Blazing World, and wow the Empress and the Duchess are so gay for each other. (Ignore the weird spelling, but):

"Husbands have reason to be jealous of Platonick Lovers, for they are very dangerous, as being not only intimate and close, but subtil and insinuating."

I will admit, when I initially heard that Margaret Cavendish put an unnamed self insert into her Blazing World book, I assumed it was the Empress, but her self insert being the Empress's ("platonic") lover is even more fascinating to me.

Both of these women are married btw, although the Empress more for political reasons than anything else. The Emperor does not care what she does, and even told her to summon her "dear platonick friend" because he didn't know how to help her. As far as the Duke goes, there's a scene where both the Duchess's and Empress's souls are inside the Duke's body, and initially the Duchess is jealous, but then realizes "there can be no adultery between Platonick lovers" and is cool with it.

And I just. What was that about, Margaret? Please. You, your fictional girlfriend, your husband. What is going on in this book????

And why does the Duke's soul use she/her pronouns?

Please, I have so many questions. Not even about the hybrid animal people this time.

Pulp lyrics sung the same way that tickle my brain

Benjamin's "I don't understand" in print it anyway = John's "Where is Chester Thomas?!" in It’s a hoax reprise This isn't 100% the same melody, but there's something about the way Dahan sings "this other man worked at a rival paper, that was knocked from the top by the lunar capor" in Benjamin's apartment that sounds so similar to the way he sings "just then a blistering gale pushed Herschel over the rail" in Ahlaam and the Orrery. Rose’s "you and Anna are in love" in Polaris reprise = "you inspire my brother and I" in it's a hoax reprise "I was there" from Anna in 12 million bricks reprise = "I'm leaving too. But don't worry brother, so are you" from Rose in TGMH Remember the casual tune of introducing Troll the Tide with "8 bells in the evening, it was dinnertime," Yeah that's the same as "A gas crept in from beyond the door, Samuel's mind went blank as he hit the floor" in G&R 3. Because my mind immediately went, yes, as Morgan strummed the guitar, singing about days gone by…
