fact: the most simultaneously “fuck destiny” and “fuck, destiny” thing I’ve ever seen in fiction was when Ripred showed up at the end of the last Underland Chronicles book with a scar on his face that it’s heavily implied he put there HIMSELF, just so people would fucking listen to him.
