“Do you— would you want to— come upstairs?” he asked.
Spencer stood in front of her, unsure of what to do with his hands. Y/N was absolutely radiant— bathed in the very last of the golden daylight and more beautiful than he even remembered. All he wanted to do was hug her again and never let go.
She shook her head, and he tried not to instantly deflate. “I have to feed Roald.” She smiled a little at him and restarted his heart. “But would you want to come over? We could order somethi—”
“Yes— yes.” She let out a quiet laugh at his eagerness, and he wanted to hear that sound every day for the rest of his life. “Can I— I just want to drop this stuff off and change, and then I’ll, um.” He gestured vaguely to her. “Should I drive you or do you want to walk or I can just— meet you? Whatever— whatever you want.”
“I’m gonna head back now and take care of Roald. Take your time, and just— well, here.” She held out her hand. “I’ll put my number in your phone, and you can just text me when you’re on your way.”
He fumbled the phone out of his pocket, placed it into her outstretched hand, and nearly vibrated with the way her fingers brushed over his. She stared at the unsophisticated phone in her hand. “You weren’t kidding about the technology thing, huh?”

Pairing: MC!Bucky Barnes x Clint’s Twin Sister!Reader
Warning: Oh theeeeee language, sass, banter, violence, sexual puns, loss, abuse mentioned, possessive male characters, criminal activity, defiant females.
At the age of six, Bucky gave me a valentine’s day card, with a sloppy heart and BB scribbled inside.
At ten, he gave me a kiss on the cheek after wailing on Clint for pulling my hair.
At twelve, he pissed me off, staking claim on me in front of the others.
At fifteen, we had our first break up.
At eighteen, we graduated high school and got married.
At twenty one, everything changed.
Two years later, he’s dragging me home… to face the table and all I ran out on.

congratulations on 2k!! big milestone in your way to becoming the mayor of the world babey! how do you feel about this population expansion under your mayoralty?
🐖 oink oink for jake pretty please?? just want to see babe (haha) adopt an introvert, so can be with angel or any of the bcug(irlies) or outside, i’m not particular. or just anything really, i will hog whatever you grant us!
if I become mayor of the world we should all be very frightened, but I am loving the pig puns 😭 I decided to do it with canon Jake because I think Angel is really the only introvert and this trope doesn't totally fit them :)
warnings: language, I don't know anything about boats, this is like 2k words is it still a blurb?
If someone had told you that khaki wearing, pool playing Jake “Hangman” Seresin would end up becoming one of your closest friends, you would have looked at him entertaining a crowd of people, then back to the spot you hadn’t left since you arrived at the Hard Deck, and told them they have a weird sense of humor. Because you and Jake couldn’t have less in common if you tried. He was the loud, center of attention, flirt who never seemed to care what people thought of him. And you preferred to listen rather than talk, and only ever to people you already knew, because the thought of even one person not liking you made you want to hide under your blankets and never come out.
But a trip to a local coffee shop and a sticker from The Office on your laptop changed all of that, prompting an otherwise stranger Jake Seresin to come up and make conversation with you. Because that’s what he does. And you began to understand why Jake is so popular because he really wasn’t awful to talk to. It was the longest conversation you’ve ever had with someone you didn’t know and you left the coffee shop hours later with Jake’s number and a mind reeling from what was just the beginning of one of your most meaningful friendships.
With Jake, things were easy. If he pushed you to go out somewhere, he stuck by your side for most of the event. But he was just as willing to spend a night in too—you learned he was very good at making oven-ready pizza, which you still didn’t fully understand because, logically, it shouldn’t taste any different but it does. He just understood you, and made you happy, and was dependable in a way you never expected him to be.
It was no surprise you fell in love with him.
And that must be the reason you find yourself surrounded by a crew of Naval Aviators as Coyote drives his boat out of the dock.
“All aboard, motherfuckers!”
Fanboy cups his mouth with his hands calling back to the loudly cheering Coyote as the boat lurches into movement. “That’s a train, dipshit!”
You laugh quietly from next to Jake. You still aren’t totally comfortable around the Dagger Crew—at least, not all at once—but you do know they’re nice, and Jake always makes it fun. Even now, you feel better knowing he’s next to you, a large hand planted on your back.
“Did you bring a swimsuit?” He asks as you get farther and farther from the dock. His own swim trunk-clad body has been distracting you and you make a point to look away as you nod.
“Yeah, it’s under my clothes. Should I change?”
Phoenix overhears you and waves you over before Jake can respond, greeting you with a friendly smile as you both strip out of your clothes. You fold your t-shirt and shorts neatly, ignoring the unusual silence from the pilot who usually can’t keep his mouth shut.
“That’s a cute suit,” Phoenix compliments, though something behind you catches her eye as she lights up in a smirk. “Dontcha think, Hangman?”
You cock your head at her before following her gaze to Jake, who’s already staring at you with a pink tint to his cheeks. You look away quickly, trying to suppress the way your heart seems to skip a few beats.
“Yeah, it’s, um,” Jake swallows. “It’s nice… Nice, uh, color.”
You give him a shy smile in gratitude, moving on from the moment quickly. It takes Jake only a few minutes to recover from whatever seemed to have taken over him, and then he’s right back to joking with Javy as they both argue over where to anchor the boat. You watch the interaction with a fond smile, enjoying the brotherly-like teasing.
Not wanting to be in the way, you converse with Phoenix quietly until Jake finishes. And even though you’ve been nice enough not to bother him, as soon as he can turn his attention to you, Jake is back to his usual antics.
“Jake,” you warn, giving him a cold glare as the grin on his face grew larger. “Don’t you dare.”
He holds his hands up in mock surrender, stepping closer to you and you feel the railing of the boat press up against your back. “I’m not doing anything.”
“Jake,” you try to bolt across the boat, so you aren’t cornered, but he’s quicker than you, wrapping his arms around your middle and lifting you off the ground. “Jake!”
You can feel him laughing against you, the sound echoing around your ears as he starts running towards the edge of the boat. While Jake’s laugh usually paralyzes you for a couple minutes, the suddenly present fear of plummeting into very cold water snaps you out of it faster than usual.
“Jake!” You try to climb over his shoulder, struggling against him, but all it does is make him tighten his grip. “Put me down! I swear—”
Your threat is cut short as Jake leaps over the boat and your motivation suddenly changes from trying to get away from him to clinging to him as you both submerge into the icy waves. If you weren’t so cold, you would have definitely been worried about the fact that your arms are now wrapped tightly around his neck and your legs are clasped behind his back. And you would have been a lot more worried about the fact that his arms are squeezing into your hips. You remove one of your hands from him to wipe the water from your eyes.
“I hate you.”
“No, you don’t,” Jake has a goofy grin on his face, his hair plastered to his forehead. “You love me.”
You’re in love with Jake Seresin. You love him the way you love a sunrise. You know that every day, without fail, he’ll be there, but you also know that every day, without fail, you’ll find something else you love about him. You’re willing to wake up at the crack of dawn, every day, just to watch him explode with color. And it isn’t even hard.
You love Jake the way you love your favorite song. You close your eyes and put your headphones in. You know every word, every beat, every crescendo. You know everything about it and, yet, every time you hear it, it’s like hearing it for the first time. You do love Jake, you love him more than he could even imagine. And something about him saying it, and not knowing, is something you just couldn’t bear.
You must have been staring for too long because Jake’s mouth is opening to ask if you’re okay, but you don’t give him the chance. Your lips are on his before he can even get the question out. His cologne fills your senses, the saltwater taste on his lips a lingering thought in your mind as you use your arm around his neck as leverage to deepen the kiss.
Jake’s grip tightened on your legs, his hands moving from your thighs back to your hips as if unable to pick a spot to settle. It isn’t until you feel his hand trace the band of your swimsuit that you catch yourself, pulling away from him suddenly. His eyes widen in surprise as you detangle yourself from him.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have—” You pull your gaze away from his swollen lips, forcing yourself to paddle back to the boat and get as far away from Jake as humanly possible.
Not even bothering to dry off, you make a run for the cabin. You know you’re being a coward. Considering you’re trapped in the middle of the ocean with him, you can’t just ignore him. But you also know that you aren’t supposed to kiss a guy like Jake Seresin.
So, if you have to somehow convince Jake that he imagined the whole thing and you never kissed him in the first place, then that’s what you have to do. You just have to figure out how the hell to do that. You dart past Javy, who gives you a strange look, and continue down the steps to the cabin.
Even though you know that it wouldn’t actually do a thing, you convinced yourself that if you could just get into a room and lock a door, you’d be home free. You just have to get there first. The sound of feet moving above your head causes your heartbeat to quicken and you break out into a run. You can see the door of the cabin in front of you and as soon as you reach it, you let out a sigh of relief.
A wave of utter mortification hits you again as you lock the door and you physically cringe as you try to wrap your head around what you just did. You kissed Jake. And then you ran away. You let out a loud groan, scrunching your eyes as if that will rid the thought.
It doesn’t
You didn’t know how long you had before Jake found you, but you’re not expecting him to knock on the door as soon as he does. Your blood runs cold and you freeze as if not making a sound will somehow trick him into thinking you aren’t there.
The doorknob rattles slightly. “I know you’re in there.”
You hold your breath, refusing to say anything as Jake tries with the door again.
“Would you just talk to me?” The movement on the doorknob stops.
You’re at the door before you can fully realize it, but you still can’t bring yourself to unlatch the lock. Sliding down the oak wood, you try to steady your breathing.
“You can’t just pretend that never happened.” Jake’s voice is quieter on the other side of the door and it sounds like he’s also sitting against it.
You swallow thickly because that is exactly what you’re hoping to do.
“Will you open the door?”
“Jake, can you please just go away?” You finally find your voice, Jake's incessant reminders making you fall deeper and deeper into a pit of embarrassment.
“Why won’t you just talk to me?”
You can picture him now, head leaning against the door, confusion painted across his features.
“Please?”
“I’m sorry.”
It’s his turn to be silent, letting you take a deep breath.
“I’m sorry, I did something really stupid. I wasn’t—”
“You think kissing me was stupid?” His voice sounds almost defeated on the other side of the door.
“I—” You bite your lip. “I don’t know, I don’t want to find out.”
“Well… I don’t think it was stupid.”
Jake’s words hit you like an anvil. You never once planned on confessing your feelings to Jake—let alone in this fashion—but the potential that he also felt something for you was not something you had accounted for.
“Would you open the door already?” He tries to joke, but you can tell he’s slowly getting desperate.
You get up from the floor on wobbly legs. “You better not be fucking with me.”
You turn the lock slowly, not having enough courage to actually open the door yourself, and after a moment Jake tries again with the knob. When it opens against his weight, he looks at you, frozen in the doorway as you’re equally still inside the cabin.
“Do you still think it was stupid?” He asks finally.
“Do you think it was stupid?”
He shakes his head, taking a step closer to you. “No, I don’t think it was stupid.”
Jake is getting closer to you now and, though you’re still frozen in place, that sinking feeling in your stomach is getting smaller.
“Actually, I think it was so unstupid that I want to do it again.”
Your body processes his words before your brain does and he already has his lips on yours by the time you fully understand what he’s saying. Jake pulls you into him firmly, hands finding your hips as yours wrap loosely around his neck.
After a moment, you pull away with a small smile. “I, um, I love you.”
“I figured.”
You let out a shocked laugh at his boldness and a cheesy grin lights up his face as he dips down to your lips again.
“I love you too.”
Loved it!
Imagine coming back to town with a fiancé that no one really approves of- not your friends, not your ex, and sometimes even you find yourself doubting the relationship.
Prompt courtesy of Anonymous who said: Hey! May I request an Enzo St. John imagine in which the reader and Enzo broke up because the burdens that surrounded him were far too much to handle- but when she comes back to mystic falls with her rich hot shot boyfriend, Enzo isn’t happy. He manages to win her back & promises that life will be smoother for them from there on <33
Enzo X Reader
Returning to Mystic Falls is.. bittersweet.
It’s your hometown and it’s where a lot of your firsts had taken place. But life in the picturesque town was quickly soured, and you and your friends were let in on the horrible secret of monsters existing. And while some of these monsters were actually pretty decent folks, there were others who took joy in the kill.
You and the Scooby Gang, as Damon had dubbed you and your friends, quickly adapted to living life alongside supernatural beings. It was a dangerous life to lead, but you couldn’t exactly shun Bonnie for being a witch or Caroline who had been turned into a vampire against her will. You didn’t really care for Tyler, but the werewolf and you shared more than a few friends and the Salvatore brothers became people you found yourself not being able to drop completely.

This was great! Couldn’t stop smiling!!
Hi! Is it ok if you do a Charlie Weasley x reader blurb or fic where they never do PDA and you wouldn’t know they are together unless you were really close to them. Then at Christmas with the Weasley’s the show a bit of PDA thinking that no one is around but they are. I really hope that makes sense. Don’t worry if you don’t want to do it xx
I sincerely apologise for how long these are taking, but i am hoping to get the final 6 out after this quicker :)
That being said, i love Charlie and he is absolutely the best character for this request! I had so much fun writing this!
Go fish
The relationship you had with Charlie was an odd one to anyone who wasn’t you or him. To an outsider’s eyes it might seem like you weren’t even dating. You were never sitting in each other’s laps, giving kisses, cuddling in public. Not that it mattered; how you wanted your relationship with Charlie to be was none of other people’s business.
That didn’t mean there was no affection whatsoever. You simply preferred to keep the intimacy private. You didn’t want it to be the world’s issue. This was yours and yours alone. The kisses, hugs, whispered words; they were all kept in the private safety of you and Charlie.
Mainly because of this, your relationship with Charlie was unknown to a lot. Even to those close to you; your family thought Charlie was just a good friend, as did his. That didn’t stop them from gossiping about the supposed feeling you had for each other however. The gossips didn’t fail to reach you and Charlie, but you paid little attention to them, mostly because it was a chaos you didn’t want to be involved in.
An end was put to the gossiping, however, when you were visiting the Burrow with Charlie for Christmas.
His family had invited you to spend Christmas day there and such a great invitation you could not decline. So on Christmas morning you were sitting in the kitchen of the Burrow with the rest of the family, enjoying Molly’s famous brunch. The sphere in the kitchen was great and you had lots of fun catching up with the people you hadn’t seen in a while.
You didn’t miss the looks that were pointed you and Charlie’s way. It was obvious that you sitting next to Charlie was not a coincidence. Throughout the whole breakfast, Molly giggled whenever she saw you were talking with or smiling at Charlie. Fred and George, who were sitting on either sides of you, kept pushing you closer together and even Arthur could not help but smile as he saw Charlie putting his arm on the back of your chair.
However, none of them said a word about what they were trying to accomplish so you didn’t act on it. And neither did Charlie. You both went your normal ways, whether this was together then or alone the next moment.
After the brunch everyone but Molly, who stayed home to prepare for tea already, went outside. The past weeks it had been snowing and with the Burrow on the top of the hill, the scenery around the house was the perfect place for sleighing.
You were—courtesy of Fred and George—put on a sleigh with Charlie. On the top of the hill you sat down on the wooden sleigh and he sat down behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist.
‘Ready?’ he asked and you felt his hot breath against the part of your skin that wasn’t covered by a scarf.
‘As I’ll ever be,’ you nodded and pushed off the sleigh.
Laughing and yelling filled the empty field as the sleigh raced down the hill. Charlie tightened his grip around your waist as you attempted to keep the sleigh going straight ahead by holding two cords attached to the front.
His laugh sounded clear and loud in your ear and, although it was freezing outside, you felt your cheeks heat up at the sound. Charlie’s laugh was so innocent and pure, you could listen to it forever. The sound never failed to cheer you up, no matter how down in the dump you were.
At the area where the ground got more flat, you put your heels in the snow to slow down. The sleigh began to sway and as the bushes were getting closer, you made a final attempt to turn the thing around. You pulled on one of the cords with all your power and the sleigh made a sharp turn, throwing you and Charlie off.
You rolled on the snow and landed on your back, while Charlie ended up face down in the snow. He jumped up quickly and ran over to you to help you, as you were having difficulty to get up because you were laughing so much. He took your hand and pulled you on your feet.
‘Are you okay?’ he asked worried, while he brushed your hair out of your face.
‘I’m fine, love,’ you said, the last chuckles escaping your mouth as you wiped the snow from Charlie’s forehead.
Charlie pressed a quick kiss to your lips and held your hand as he took the sleigh with the other. ‘Come on, let’s do it again.’
You walked with Charlie up the hill again, joining the others. He gave you a little squeeze as he caught the stare of Fred and you grinned as you followed his gaze. You wondered how long it would take for the Weasleys to realise that you had been dating Charlie for months already.
You stayed outside until it really got too cold to do anything. Your fingers were numb from the cold and they welcomed Molly’s hot chocolate gratefully. In the living room, you spent the afternoon playing games with the Weasley siblings.
Charlie was sitting behind you as you played a very intense game of Go Fish with the twins and Ginny. He was looking at your cards over your shoulder and offering you advice whenever it was your turn.
‘Fred, gimme all your fives,’ George said and reluctantly Fred gave him the three fives he had in his hand. You laughed loudly at the face the twin made as he had to hand over his cards but you soon lost your laugh as George asked for the three twos in your hand. George gave you a smirk and his eyes flickered to behind you before he turned back to his cards.
You turned around quickly and quickly knew what was going on when you saw Charlie’s guilty face. ‘Charlie!’ you cried. ‘Did you tell him what cards I have?’
Charlie said nothing, but the little smirk on his face was enough of an answer for you. Your jaw dropped and you hit Charlie on his arm. ‘Nice boyfriend you are,’ you said decidedly and Charlie’s smirk turned into a pout. ‘You’re sleeping on the couch tonight!’
You turned back around and were met with three baffled faces. A low chuckle came from your throat and Charlie put his hands in your waist, squeezing a little too hard.
‘You’re dating?’ George asked.
‘Well, we have been for the past five months,’ Charlie said, releasing the grip on your waist and instead sitting closer to you and wrapping his arms around it. He rested his chin on your shoulder and smirked at his siblings. ‘But thanks for noticing.’
‘No you can’t be dating,’ Ginny said, lowering her cards. ‘We would have known.’
‘Apparently you didn’t,’ you shrugged. ‘Now come on, let’s play. I need to win from George.’
‘No, wait,’ Fred interrupted. ‘Did mum and dad- MOM!’
Charlie sighed and he let go of you, taking place beside you rather than behind. He leaned forward a little bit and turned his head slightly to read George’s card, who was looking at the doorway for his mother. Charlie sat back and mouthed a number to you.
‘Mom!’ George said when Molly walked into the living room. ‘Did you know they were dating?’
Molly gave her son a soft smile and she nodded. ‘Of course I did. It’s hard to hide such a thing,’ she said and you smiled gratefully at her.
‘See? Guess you’re just oblivious,’ you said, when Molly went back to the other room and George and Fred turned back around. ‘Now give me your threes, so I can win.’
Can’t Sleep? || Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw.
You’ve had insomnia for about two years now, and every January it would get a lot worse than it usually would be.
It was 02:33 in the morning when you had woken up yet again the same night twice in a row. You had gotten up at 01:10 earlier, but didn’t want to wake up your loving of a husband, Bradley.
So of course, usually when it gets this bad you had found out that a cup of hot chocolate puts you to sleep easier. You shifted the bed slowly, before taking his arm off of your waist super slowly.
Tip-toeing to the kitchen, you turned on the light and grabbed the ingredients to make. After placing the ingredients, which you slowly did to not wake up the bear in your shared room, you had opened up the microwave and winced as soon as you pounced in the buttons to heat it up. “Shhh,” you told no one in particular. To you, it felt like the microwave was the loudest thing in the world, and Bradley is a slight easy person to wake up.
Bradley Bradshaw had slowly opened his eyes as he smelt a very, nice warm feeling in the air. “Honey?” He croaked out, turning to his right but to see nobody there. He hummed. He knew she was awake up at 1 in the morning, but he didn’t know that she had gotten up the second time.
He knew he had work in the morning at eight, but he didn’t care as long as he knew that your mental was okay, and that you overall were okay as well. So he got up, like a loving husband he is, and walked straight to the kitchen and lingered on the side beam wall. He smiled softly as you blew onto the hot chocolate you made, trying to cool it down.
Sipping on your hot chocolate, you let out a nice sigh of relief you’ve been holding in. “Nightmares?” Bradley finally spoke, making you jump ever so lightly and holding onto the cup a bit more tightly. “I didn’t mean to wake you,” you whispered as you slowly walked up to him. “You didn’t.” He assured you.
“I’m just worried about my wife, you’ve woken up twice so far.” He kissed the side of your head, his hands finding a way to hold your waist loosely. “You don’t gotta worry about me, roo.” You spoke. “I’m fine,” he tsked. “That’s a lie baby we both know that. Tell me, what happened in this dream?” He asked.
You hummed, and began to tell your story. It had lasted for one hour, and your hot chocolate was already empty. You were so tired by the end of the story, you fell ever so slightly asleep. Bradley picked carefully placed you comfortably on the couch, ready to put every single ingredient back in where they belong and cleaned the cup.
Then, Bradley walked up to the living room and grabbed you bridal style, careful not to wake you up again for the third time. He smiled softly as you curled into his figure as he walked back into the room. He covered you up with the covers, and got into bed himself, spooning you. “Love you,” he whispered and closed his eyes.
