Jeno usually isn’t the clingy type of guy, if anything he has people clinging to him. But since he’s been sick these past few days, my sweet sweet boyfriend had been resembling a little puppy needing attention all day everyday. 

I’m not complaining really but I had classes for the whole day and couldn’t check up on him. Jaemin promised to watch him but he stopped texting me update since noon so I was a bit worried. 

Quickly making my way to their dorm after class, I tried calling Jaemin but he wasn’t picking up and so was the rest of the boys residing in the dorm. 

I rang their doorbell twice and waited for someone to answer, 

“Is that you, Y/N? Please let it be you” I hear Na Jaemin scream from inside

“Oh thank god it’s you” he said when he saw me standing outside, “Why weren’t you answering my calls?” I asked him

“You’re boyfriend wouldn’t let go of my arm, I need to go to the bathroom. He’s still in his room” he said as he ran away

I made my way to Jeno’s bedroom, when I entered I really couldn’t see him since he’s under a pile of blankets.

He moved around underneath and called out for his bestfriend, 

“Did Y/N text yet? Her classes are done by now” he said, his voice still hoarse  and you could definitely tell he had a stuffy nose. 

I made my way to his bed and took the vacant space, “Hello, you were looking for me?” I asked him with a smile. 

He quickly popped his head up from under the blankets

“Hi” he said with a loopy smille on, I swear I felt my heart melt. Also, I don’t get how he looks this good even though he’s sick. 

“Hi, are you feeling any better?” I asked him, putting my hand on his forehead to check, “Yes, Jaemin cooked some soup”

“Did you drink some medicine?” he just nodded at my question, his eyes were already closed again, probably enjoying the feeling of my hand running through his hair

“Do you want anything, need anything else?”

“Cuddles” 

I really couldn’t say no to him when he’s being this adorable. So I took u p the space beside him, him still being under the thick blanket and me on top. 

“Missed you today” I hear him mumble

“I was gone for like 7 hours”

“That’s still too long” I feel his arm wrap tighter around me, making me smile a little bigger

“You’re cute like this, who knew you could be this clingy” I told him, I didn’t hear a reply from him but instead he just cuddled closer to me

After a while I feel him relax a bit, his arm were still around me and my hand still running through his hair

I hear someone knock on his door gently, 

“Noona, Jaemin hyung cooked some dinner” Jisung said, standing by the door

I gestured to the sleeping but still clinging on to me Jeno, the younger one nodded in understanding. He closed the door behind him gently, slowly I felt myself get a bit more sleepy, before completely dosing off I hear Jeno mumble a thank you

“Huh? what did you say, love?” I asked him quietly

“Nothing, just saying thank you for taking care of me” 

Instead of saying anything else, I just cuddled closer to him too. I feel him sigh in content before both of us drifted off to sleep.

CUTE PARENTS, CUTE BABIES.

note ; posting another jeno fic bc its still jeno week <3 tbh its still jeno month so i might post more jeno fics? idk yet but YEA also this is perhaps one of my most favorite works ever..... breathe if u live for husband!jeno supremacy!!!!!!!!

“What are you doing?”

You freeze, eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights as you turn around to see your husband, Jeno, standing by the doorway with his hands on his hips. 

“What are you doing?” he repeats, and you can’t tell if he’s angry or upset from the lack of light.

“Eating Oreos while watching Modern Family.” you admit quietly, slowly lowering the packet of said biscuits you held in your hand.

These random cravings of yours had started ever since you had gotten pregnant, as well as an interest in sitcoms.

Which pretty much explains why you're munching on Oreos in your dark living room at two in the morning while binge watching season four of Modern Family.

Neither you nor Jeno say anything for a moment, the only sound in your quiet apartment being the dialogue from the TV.

Jeno's the one who breaks the silence first with a sigh, shaking his head as he plops down next to you on the sofa.

“In the dark? You’re hurting your eyes by watching without the lights on.” he scolds lightly, a frown accompanying the disappointment in his voice.

But Jeno’s frown doesn't stay long when he notices your face, biscuit crumbs speckled around your lips and cheeks.

“You eat like a child.” he teases, brushing it off for you. “That’s because I’m bearing one, remember?” you deadpan, jokingly rolling your eyes.

“I'm pretty sure that's not how it works." he chuckled.

“But on a serious note though, wake me up when you're craving anything.” Jeno warns sternly, glaring at you with a pout. "What if you trip and fall? What if you can't get what you want to eat? It's dangerous."

You giggle at how protective and serious your husband of three years was being, pressing a kiss to his cheek before leaning onto his chest.

"Got it, Mr. Safety." you assure. "I'll wake you up next time."

He hums at this, hands running over your baby bump as he let you snuggle into him comfortably.

The two of you enjoy each other's mere presence as time goes on, you immensely focused on the show while Jeno focuses more on feeding you Oreos and pressing small kisses on your head.

Nonetheless, a certain character catches Jeno's eye, and it turns his own ones into little crescent moons as he smiles as her cuteness.

"That little girl is really cute." he gushes. "What's her name?"

You smile at this, swallowing your last chew of another Oreo Jeno had just fed you. "Her name's Lily!" you say. "She's really cute, isn't she? I hope our daughter is as cute as her."

The image of having your very own little, more adorable, Lily makes you giggle, even more excited to meet your daughter when the time for her to meet the big world finally arrives.

But the smile on Jeno freezes, and you feel him tense below you.

"What do you mean... daughter?"

Your heart drops to your feet and guilt crashes over you when it pops into mind - Jeno had specifically asked you not to tell him the gender of your baby till they were born, wanting it to be a surprise.

"Oh God, I am so sorry." you rambled nervously, sitting up to face him with wide, panicked eyes.

Jeno doesn't respond, eyes wide like yours but glossing over as he keeps his stare trained to the floor. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to ruin the surprise for you." you continue. "I found out only a few weeks ago and I really didn't mean to tell you, it just slipped out, and I-"

"We're going to have a daughter." Jeno interrupts, and you watch a single tear roll down his face.

"We're going to have a daughter!" he repeats, this time in awe and overwhelming emotion as tears start to freely stream down his cheeks, the unmistakable grin of pure joy and delight on his lips.

"Yeah, we are!" you laughed lightly, tears beginning to well up in your own eyes.

"I'm so happy." Jeno sniffles, wiping away his tears and snot before reaching out to you for a hug.

You wrap your arms around his neck as his rest around your waist, and you can feel how happy he is with the speed his heart is thudding against yours.

"I'm going to have my own little princess with my lovely queen." he giggles, kissing you sweetly on the lips.

You laugh at him, returning the kiss before leaning your forehead against his.

"I love you." you whisper.

"I love you too."

"And rest assured," Jeno adds, moving to rub your baby bump softly. "Our daughter will definitely be cuter than Lily."

You cock your head to the side, a confused smile on your lips. "How sure are you?"

"Because cute parents make cute babies." Jeno brags, like it was the most common fact ever.

He leans in to kiss you again, this time with more passion and love than the previous one.

"And we're the cutest parents there'll ever be."
