DAY 1: PUMPKIN

A family of pumpkin sprites composed of a father and his three mature sprouts. Pumpkin sprites are enigmatic entities that rarely show themselves to other creatures, but this family apparently accepted to be photographed. They also wear man made clothing, which is rather unusual for spirits.

DAY 2: DECAY

Like any other form of life, spirits are subject to decay, and pumpkin sprites are no exception. When one of them perishes their friends and relatives carve a small throne out of wood or stone, then they sit the corpse on it and wait in silence the eventual growth of mold and fungi, even up to several hours.

Life cannot exist without Decay, and the pumpkin sprites know this well, as the giant black flowershrooms that bloom from the corpses are kept and revered as memorials of the passed away loved ones, maybe to carry on the recycle of life, maybe to never forget those that held a space in their heart.
