"you know what would be nice right now?"

"what?" you replied without turning around, while diligently applying your lipgloss in front of the mirror.

"if you could stay here with me and cuddle together" choerry said crossing her arms; her response making you switch your eyes from your own lips to look at her through the mirror.

she was sitting on her bed, watching you as you got ready in the room of loona's dorm that she shared with hyejoo, who at that moment was in the living room.

"you know i can't, right?" you explained, closing your lipgloss and placing it in your purse, now focusing your attention on some rebellious strands of hair, "i have to go to the most boring family party ever and you have practice in less than ten minutes" you finished, finally turning around and walking in your girlfriend's direction to stop in front of her, who was still sitting down.

"aaaaaw" she whined, grabbing your hands and looking up at you, resting her head against your stomach, the action making you smile warmly, "just a kiss, then?" she insisted, facing you again, flashing you her puppy eyes and pouting while making her bottom lip tremble. you had to look away and exhale in order to resist and not give in.

"alright" you suddently said, an idea popping in your head, "but close your eyes first".

she bounced on the bed out of excitement and clapped her hands, before doing as you ordered, puckering her lips out. you squished her cheeks in between your hands, causing her lips to part ever so slightly and bent down to reach her.

however, you just blew some cold air in her mouth, making her eyes widen to look at you in shock and betrayal, watching you as you ran away. too surprised to chase after you, she just yelled "you owe me so many kisses after you come back!" before falling back on her bed and sighing loudly.

HeeJin: HeeJin wouldn’t be that scared. Everytime something scares her she would just leave a short scream and then laugh at herself for being scared of things that aren’t real

HyunJin: HyunJin would loudly scream everytime that something scares her and probably would hide behind someone, but when the other girls look at her she goes like: “What? I wasn’t scared at all! That could never scare me, please girls”

HaSeul: HaSeul would probably the type of person who when it’s scared hugs others to protect them (especially YeoJin or ViVi), after that she would yell at the actor/actress who scared her to ‘stop it’

YeoJin: We all know that she would be yelling the whole time, nearly crying and hiding behind HaSeul. When some character doesn’t scare her she laughs at them but then something else scares her and she goes back to the scary baby that she would be

ViVi: She would scream in mute. She would only cover her face and close her eyes when she’s scared and maybe grab tight someone’s arm *cough cough* haseul’s *cough cough*, when they go out she would be like: ‘I liked it so much! Let’s try it again!’

Kim Lip: ‘Don’t worry JinSoul, I’ll protect you from every monster that we find’, but everytime she gets scared, she runs away and forgets about the others. When the girls call her a coward she says: ‘Well, I didn’t do it because I was a coward, but someone has to survive, right?’, and laughs

JinSoul: ‘WAIT KIM LIP DON’T LET ME HERE TO DIE’, she would yell after Kim Lip runs away. She would stay in the place petrified, without even breathing. ‘Come on move JinSoul, we don’t have all day to wait for you!’, would scream at her YeoJin from behind, scared as hell. The girls would have to push her to keep moving until Kim Lip comes back from her runaway.

Choerry: Every time some actor/actress try to scare her, she laughs happily and tells them that ‘they’re super scary and should keep doing their thing’. When they’re out she’s loudly saying that ‘it has been amazing’, clapping and smiling

Yves: She would probably don’t care about the scary characters. She would probably care more about the girls’ screams and find them annoying. She would probably scare Chuu and YeoJin and then laugh at them, but also would try to calm Chuu if she hugs her scared. ‘Come on girls, we have to keep going it isn’t that horrible’

Chuu: She would be laughing instead of screaming even if she’s scared as hell. A witch appears? She laughs loudly. A scary little kid appears? She laughs loudly, even though she probably wouldn’t get to see almost anything because of the laugh she would have her eyes closed all the time. 

Go Won: Probably behind Olivia all the way. Everytime she gets scared, she yells a little ‘aaaa’ with her crunchy voice and then keep going laughing a bit. ‘Omg that ghost right there looks like it is going to do ‘bbong bbong drr drr’ to us’

Olivia Hye: Like the gamer she is, she would try to make plans, ‘Okay, but we should go this way instead of this way’. She also as a reflex action, would try to hit the actors/actresses when they scare her. ‘I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN IT’, while laughing

“i mean, you are kind of short”

“stop it!”

you two have been going on for about an hour, and it all started because you had to help yeojin grab a box of cereal from one of the highest shelves, after she refused to use a stool or a chair.

it really wasn’t a surprise that your friend was the shortest and cutest girl you’ve ever met, but it was very funny to remind her how taller you were, especially if compared to her small frame.

“you… selfish person” she muttered under her breath, so quietly that you almost didn’t hear it, and you literally snorted and started laughing.

“how am i selfish?”

“stealing all that height that could have been mine”

“think about this though, you are the best size for people to hug” and that being said, you hugged her basically tackling her to the ground, at which she started whining and complaining for you to get off her.

she was indeed the cutest.

Y/n pulled her knees up to her chest and clutched her legs tightly. Tears that she had done so well to hold back and never let see the light of day finally started to slowly fall down her cheeks.

So many thoughts raced through her head clouding over everything. All the rational thoughts were hidden with her problems and worries.

"Hyejoo... Am I-I not enough for y-you?" And that's when Y/n sobbed harder and harder until she was clearly out of breath.

Y/n looked over at Hyejoo's phone one more time as it buzzed, and wouldn’t stop. Her heart felt like it was gonna break as she saw the contact name. '나의 공주 채원' (My Princess Chaewon)

There were flashbacks flooding in her mind. Warm tears escaping from her precious eyes. Her breath hitched as she read the contact name. Her right hand was clutching on her chest tightly, trying to bear the pain she was feeling.

[February 20, 2016] ~Flashback~

"Hyejoo?"

"Yeah? Is there something wrong babe?"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Uhmm. Sure"

"Will you stay by my side? Will you promise me? I'm scared that you'll shatter away and leave me alone"

"Y/n, you know I won't ever do that right?"

"Will you stop time if this moment passes by? Love will you?"

Hyejoo could only sigh and smile warmly at Y/n. She held Y/n's face and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Of course she won't ever do that to Y/n. Or will she?

"I promise not to leave and hurt you my Y/n. That's a promise I'll never ever break. I love you baby"

[October 13, 2020] ~Present~

'That was a good lie back there Hyejoo. How can you even do this to me?'

Y/n was there inside her room, quietly crying her heart out, laying back on the cold wall. Her breaths were unstable, unable to breathe properly. It's just too much for her fragile heart.

Maybe... Maybe it's about time for her to let go.

She tried her best reaching for the doorknob, trying to stand up straight. She went towards the kitchen where Hyejoo is, slamming the phone hardly onto their countertop.

Y/n looked up to her with red puffy eyes. Hyejoo was confused-no, she was beyond confused. She tried to hold Y/n, but only ended up being pushed.

"Hyejoo, please get out. Let's end this please, just go, I'm done.. It's too m-much please get o-out"

"Wha-Y/n why? What do you mean?"

Y/n couldn't talk, she tried not to cry, but miserably failed. Can you blame her? She loves Hyejoo more than anything else, more than anyone else, and even more than herself.

Y/n held up the phone with shaky hands, showing all the messages and calls from Chaewon. Hyejoo's heartbeat fastened, she swallowed the lump in her throat and tried to speak up.

"Y/n, let's talk about this please. Let's not just end it like this. Please-"

"No Hyejoo! I said it's too much, you think I don't know? The way you look at her, the way you talk to her, and both of your smiles were twice as wide as ours! Yeah sure, call me stupid for being a fool. But I'm not that dumb not to notice, Hyejoo!"

"Baby... gosh I-I'm so so sorry..." There were tears that managed to escape Hyejoo's eyes. All along, she didn't know she was hurting Y/n, to the point where Y/n is already the first one to give up.

"You cheated on m-me Son Hyejoo! You made a promise right? You said you'll never break it, but you did. Tell me w-why.."

"Baby I-I'm sorry, I fell out of love.. I'm sorry baby-"

"Don't call me that... We're done, get out now. I am begging you! Please get out!"

That's it, Y/n looks like she was about to pass out, what about the promise now? Well yeah, maybe promises really are meant to be broken.

Hyejoo was crying hard, lot of tears were streaming down their cheeks. She was mad at herself for hurting the person who loved her the most.

"Can I hug and kiss you for the last time? Just this time for now, Y/n.. Please, let m-me"

Y/n could only nod at her, and with that Hyejoo did not waste time, nor second to hug her tightly. She held Y/n in her arms, almost not wanting to let her go. That's when Y/n started squirming in the hug.

Hyejoo hugged her tighter "Y/n, stop. Please let me do this for the last time." And she did stop, there were sobs and wails coming from the both of them.

Y/n let go of the hug as Hyejoo initiated their last kiss. It was soft but sorrowful, neither if them wanted to let go, but they need to. Maybe they weren't really made for each other.

Hyejoo gave a small smile, leaving a light peck on Y/n's forehead. She looked at her for the last time before turning the doorknob, leaving the house. As soon as the door shuts, Y/n cries loudly, making Hyejoo hear it from the outside.

Sure, Hyejoo was so guilty for hurting and cheating on Y/n, but she needs to face the consequences of what she did. Her heart clenched just by hearing her past-lover cry. What can she do? It's too late now, right?

With a shaky breath, followed by a loud sigh...

"I'm sorry Y/n, for breaking that promise. I love you so much, again.. I'm sorry my love, I'm sorry"
