You held onto him weakly and mumbled apologies. He shushed you and carried you to your room, he put you down on the bed and started to heal you skilfully, healing your broken skull and deep wounds. You hissed in pain as he mumbles reassuring words, cheering you up slightly. The tension in the room was tense and thick, you felt guilty for worrying him and apologised again. He sighed and gently hugged you, he mumbled, ‘Don’t apologise, the ones who hurt you should’ve apologised before they died. No one will bother you or hurt you anymore. I’ll make sure of that.’

You blushed and asked for cuddles for the time-being. He nodded and fulfilled your request, he nuzzled into your neck, wanting to be the little spoon this time which happens rarely. You chuckled and played with his hair, feeling safe in his arms once again.
