note: i was supposed to do a zhongli angst drabble but when i was writing it, it started going downhill so i just made this instead. unedited as usual and idea was from @kingkaeya!

albedo ;

he’d lean in your touch almost instantly. he finds a big sense of comfort whenever you hold him - whether it may be cuddles or whatnot. albedo feels peaceful once you hold his place. he doesn’t want you to let go - not yet. he dislikes the idea of his feeling of safety going away swiftly. he would be against you letting go, burying his face at the crook of your neck, nuzzling his nose as he inhales your sweet and memorable scent. at times like these, albedo is desperate. for what? for you, your touch, that feeling of security he feels when he’s with you - he’s desperate for all of it.

childe ;

childe laughs at you and makes you squish his cheeks. his schedule is a mess, there are times when he’s completely free (to the point he doesn't seem like he’s a harbinger) and there are times when he’s so busy. you couldn’t find the right time for each other properly. but childe has his ways of sneaking every now and then - this moment being one of them. a small five minutes of his spare time and he’s there by your side, whining and getting needy for affection. it’s just how he is.

xiao ;

if there was something you should’ve known about xiao, it’s the fact that he’s very, and i mean very fragile. when you hold his face, it could go down in two ways: one, xiao would back away in shock. or two, he’ll try and relax as you cup his cheek. xiao has been through enough - he’s suffered more and more than a normal person can comprehend. however, why was your touch so… welcoming? as his face resides in your hand, he wonders: just how could you accept him? does he deserve this type of affection in the first place? but those thoughts matter so little - it’s best to just focus on the present.

diluc ;

he’s confused. diluc likes the feeling of your thumb grazing upon his cheek - it’s a comforting feeling for him. whenever diluc rests, he either asks you to spend time with him or he indirectly asks you to hold his face. it became his guilty pleasure (but of course he doesn’t want to admit that). the refreshing feeling of you holding his face to pass time was something that diluc didn’t expect to love so much. but there’s no turning back, no?

Suna Rintaro was everywhere.

Aside from the fact that you already see his face when you close your eyes, and at night your dreams are infested with fox-like grins and messy dark brown hair. That was annoying on its own right.

No, it seems no matter where you turn, Suna Rintaro was waiting for you just around the corner.

Last week, you wouldn’t have minded. In fact, you might have felt as if the world was finally doing you a favor. Now, the powers that be seem to have reared its ugly head to mock you.

On the plus side, you’ve gotten to know the halls of your school on a much more intimate level than you thought possible.

You knew that if you took the stairway on the east side of school, you’ll avoid the route that Suna usually takes to class. You discovered that the second floor bathroom was exceptionally cleaner than the third floor — after having to avoid it when you saw Suna hanging around the entrance on a few occasions.

You didn’t mind taking the long way around the buildings to get back to class, even if it had always made you late. At least it meant you wouldn’t find Suna waiting for you outside again.

Suna Rintaro was everywhere, and you were doing everything in your power to make sure you weren’t.

Because then maybe you wouldn’t see him pressed up against another girl, her letter of confession sitting pretty in his palm.

You looked at your watch, slowly making your way to the lockers to change your shoes. The school was empty, and the afternoon rays filtered the hallways in a golden light. Your body was tired from all the extra work and walking you’re putting it through, but you tell yourself it’s for your own good.

Was it pathetic to shoulder everyone’s clean up duty to ensure you were alone when you left school? That was a question you didn’t feel like facing at the moment.

As soon as you open the door to your locker, another hand shoots from behind to slam it shut — Suna’s arm settled mere centimeters from the right side of your face.

“I rejected her.”

You felt your body tense up from the familiar voice. Suna’s breath fanned on your neck, his chest barely inches away from pressing against your back.

“Huh?” You barely managed to squeak out.

“I know what ya think ya saw the other day,” he speaks slowly, and though his words drag with a drawl, his tone was stern, “Ain’t that why you’re avoiding me?”

You didn’t answer, but your silence was enough for him.

He removes his hand from your locker.

“I rejected her, so don’t go around just assumin’ things.”

You hear him pocket his hands, but he doesn’t move from behind you.

“Why are you telling me?”

“Just thought you should know.”

Whether from embarrassment at being read so easily, or irritation from his indirect answer, you turn around in an attempt to face Suna with anger.

But instead, all you see is his retreating back. He simply waves his hand.

“I’m late for practice. Answer my call later.”

Venti is aware, very much aware, of his round face and overall childish appearance, but when you’re the one telling him this he still never ceases to melt

He also loves when you playfully pinch them or nuzzle them, he’ll erupt into bubbly giggles

You squished them once, with both hands. He blepped, and loved the chuckles you let out 

When you say that they’re adorable, he’ll smile and say that you are as well
