I think it is so strange that people will see a very clear cut point, a very very strong nonnegotiable boundary, and just start going "okay but what if" and "okay but how about"- like dude. There is no "okay BUT-", just say "okay" and move on! I can understand wanting to interact, but there are SO many other ways to do that that do not involve just blatantly ignoring someone's boundaries because YOU want to do something or because YOU think the rules just don't apply to you. You are not some special exception, you can't find a loophole, the only thing you're doing is annoying the creator and ending up blocked. It's not up for you to decide what an artist can or cannot restrict from THEIR comic and OC, whether you like it or not. "Do not make fankids for my OC" is not at all an outrageous boundary, I don't get what's so hard to understand about it.
