wtf??
it thinks im in a call
idk what happened i was trying to answer the call but i mightve accidentally done something cause then the call immediately ended? so then i went out of the screen because i had no idea whichi call it was so i ocouldnt look go back through it since i had no idea what it was about
but then i noticed the thing was still there. and theres a log. and then i want back to the chat and it started a new chat and im just.
huh??
i got the 'call' to progress but either its because i want back to the chat and started a new one that made it unable to progress, or its because it reached an option and since i cant choose an option its kind of stuck

first fully lvl 10 spell character >:D

almost all buddies max too (i am so very lucky i found someone who has a sebek as their support tho cuz i dont think hes very popular but i dont think theyve accepted my friend request yet đ)

i wanted to max out riddle as my main and support (for other people to use i mean). hes also my first ssr (and my favorite character) but i also have a friend who has like a lvl 100+ riddle whose super fucking strong so like i should do someone else lOl or they'd prob never use my support so now my support is general lilia
In any case ive done riddle now too*

also also btw tip for like more gems: you get more gems when maxing spell level right? yknow those event cards you get from playing the event. you can level those spells up to max just using the stuff you get from lessons since you use that to level them (usually. in tropical turbulence you could do fights tho to get materials to lvl em) but so you can do that without actually using any books it is thaumark exhausting but like. g e m s .
still tho the main team i sorta put together is always riddle and azul (i got azul birthday bloom. i do have a jack ssr but hes not very strong. jack can duo with birthday bloom azul i mean*) since they can duo and since they're like one of the first few ssr cards i got and have been on the team for awhile they're generally stronger than others
i kinda wish i had a sebek ssr though for general lilia cause otherwise theres like a potential for more thats just kinda useless. i could use SRs but they cant duo themselves and at that point would be more like a card just to be supporting. so i might as well be replacing it with like defense cards to have more hp and ability to heal. cause i have epel's dorm uniform and kalims tsumsitter so
admittedly i just really like seeing duo magic happen. i want to be that person who has multiple built cards who can exchange them for multiple different teams đ

Masked Man: My name is... > Huh, I wonder? > Why's he looking at me... Masked Man: Yuu.

Boothill: Me? I'm Pom-Pom, a new Nameless who's also with the Astral Express.

Hover Notes or âFloating Boxesâin Ao3
This is a fun option if you use, for example, phrases in other languages in your story. I often do, and this is a nice way to give translations without having to scroll to the end of the text, or putting them in the starting notes where people have to keep checking back â or where they spoiler the story!
HOWEVER. The drawback is that the floating boxes only work when a âmouseâ is âhoveredâ over the marked text. They do NOT show up on tablet or phone screens, so youâll still need to put a list of translations in the notes for readers using those devices.
Letâs have an example.Â
âQuâest ce que tu veux?â
Now if you speak French, you might know that means âWhat do you want?â
But not all of your readers will know that. So, you offer them a translation. And since the boxes donât appear unless you hover directly above them, I usually add a Beginning Note to the chapter that reads something like this;
âHover over italicised foreign language text for translations! (Mobile and tablet users please see the Ending Notes)â
In HTML mode in Ao3, (if you try this in Rich Text mode you will get a horrible mess so donât) the line with this example would appear as:
<p>â<em>Quâest ce que tu veux?</em>â</p>
To add the floating box with the translation, you would select the words to be translated (that is, Quâest ce que tu veux?) and paste in the following HTML.
<span title=âWhat do you want?â>Quâest ce que tu veux?</span>
The whole line will now read:
<p>â<em> <span title=âWhat do you want?â>Quâest ce que tu veux?</span> </em>â</p>
Review your work, hover over the part that requires translating, and you should see the following:

And youâre done!
I tend to set up a Word doc with all the <span> lines I want to use created in it, and then when the time comes, just copy/paste them into Ao3. Saves lots of time!
