Room Transfer Available for Dragon Con

Our group has found ourselves with an extra room in my name, and like an idiot, I missed the deadline to cancel. I’d like to transfer the room to someone else entirely, and I’ve called the hotel to confirm that this is possible. Holiday Inn Downtown Centennial Park September 3rd through 8th (Thurs - Tues) 1-Queen bed Nonsmoking 3 Adults $271/night plus tax (average cost, some nights are more than others)

I really can’t afford to pay for the entire room on my card, which is what will happen if I can’t find someone to transfer this room to. Please spread the word or message me if you’re interested. I’m really stressing out about this, since I thought the cancellation deadline was later than it was and just found out I’d missed it.

Okay. Never mind. Anxiety is climbing again (though I think this time it has to do with stress). Phones have been off the hook all afternoon, I'm actually further behind in my work than I was this morning (how does it manage to accumulate that fast?!), my migraine is coming back, and I feel very overwhelmed. I just want a quiet, dark corner to cry in.

So apparently today is going to be one of those days. I woke up with a migraine around 4, couldn't get back to sleep once I took something, and am now a ball of horrible anxiety. I have too much to do at work to take the day off, but I'm also not sure how productive I can really be when I'm having to focus on keeping the anxiety in check.... I'm giving myself until lunch to see if I can get a handle on this; if I can't, then I'll give in, go home, and curl up in a pile of blankets until this passes.

Okay, I have to ask. Why are you trying to make a dress out of construction paper? Did I miss something?

I’d like to say that I will not bitch about sewing difficult fabrics ever again…but we all know that’s a lie.  I’ll at least try to refrain from bitching about them for the next few months.  Even trying to pin construction paper onto a dress form  in an attempt to make it actually look like a dress is turning into a nightmare.
