Never tell a grieving person how they should feel. Let them express and feel their emotions. If it makes you uncomfortable, feel fortunate you haven’t had to go through it and be sympathetic. It’s their pain not yours. Telling someone who has lost a loved one that “things will get better” is not always comforting.You do not live their life and cannot predict their future.
