Watercolour Artfight attack on a friend of their Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon inspired OC! + a really uh… ramshackle stick frame I whipped up in like 10 mins because I had wanted to give it to them as a gift but they didn’t seem interested in keeping it so uh here I am with a makeshift stick frame and a drawing of a dragon that I thought was cool but maybe isn’t?? At least I like the drawing :,) I NEED SEASON THREE OF HOUSE OF THE DRAGON NOW what is up with my blurry photo of the frame damn

In the dark, the deer mistook my headlights for stars
hehehe going to the Royal Tyrell Museum again in August, and I am boiling over with an idea
So I've been to the Royal Tyrell 3 times already before this, it is such an amazing museum :,) but this time I want to work on some paleoart if I can
So the plan is to just go around and reconstruct the dinosaurs as they are mounted in the museum, and i think that will be really fun as I usually go off of 2D skeletal drawings as a reference for accuracy, so this’ll be like drawing my dinosaur models… just, skinned and de-meat-ifyed (?)
If anyone a specific Canadian dinosaur or maybe Montana-area ones as well (I think Tyrell has a few) let me know and I can keep an eye out for them :) and hopefully sneak in a little doodle!

Haven't been able to do much legitimate paleoart lately, but here are some dinosaur characters ive drawn for art fight this month :)
most of the characters do not belong to me, so here we go

ISNT EVEN AN ACTUAL CREATURE NEVERMIND A DINOSAUR FOR THIS ONE….
so for anyone who didn’t know, pterodactyl isn’t an actual species, it’s a word derived from “pterodactyloids” which refers to a group of pterosaurs. The image most people probably have when they think of a “pterodactyl” is actually a pteranodon. search up pteranodon if you’re still not familiar to what I’m referring to.
BUT OH MY GOSH AT LEAST PTEROSAURS ARE ARCHOSAURS… mosasaur is essentially a lizard…..
it drives me crazy when people ask me about the “water Dino”
I actually hate my science class rn we need to do an assignment on the adaptations of aquatic animals so i asked if i could do mosasaurus hoffmani and the teacher said no then some kid said "isnt that a dinosaur" so then i responded with "no actually its a squamate like a komodo dragon" and he deadass went "so a dinosaur" im actually boiling rn... marine iguana is saving me rnnnn
