A Hunter is one who travels the world doing all sorts of dangerous tasks. From capturing criminals to searching deep within uncharted lands for any lost treasures. Gon is a young boy whose father disappeared long ago, being a Hunter. He believes if he could also follow his father's path, he could one day reunite with him.

After becoming 12, Gon leaves his home and takes on the task of entering the Hunter exam, notorious for its low success rate and high probability of death to become an official Hunter. He befriends the revenge-driven Kurapika, the doctor-to-be Leorio and the rebellious ex-assassin Killua in the exam, with their friendship prevailing throughout the many trials and threats they come upon taking on the dangerous career of a Hunter.

There's no such thing as too much preparation!

The fate of the S-ranked world Gaeabrande rests with the novice goddess Ristarte. As she thumbs through the piles of duller-than-dull résumés for potential Heroes to summon, she hits the jackpot with Seiya Ryuuguuin, whose stats are so high for a level-1 Hero that he's practically cheating! (He's also pretty easy on the eyes.) But there's a catch. Seiya is cautious to a fault. If he goes to a weapons and armor shop, he asks for three sets of armor: one to wear, a spare, and a spare for the spare. Just in case. He always buys ridiculous amounts of supplies, trains like he's racing to max level, and won't hesitate to use his strongest skills even on a simple slime. Fishbaiit’s note: (This was so hilarious and so weird, I was face palming my face for most of the thing. I will say that there’s plenty of “mature” scenes. It’s either a weird situation or a complete misunderstanding that actually served a purpose for future reference.)

You know how the story goes: girl crushes on guy, girl confesses feelings to guy, and guy mistakes confession for a job application. Okay, maybe that's not how it usually goes, but that's what happens when Chiyo Sakura when she finally got up the courage to tell her classroom crush Nozaki how she feels. Since she doesn't know that he's secretly a manga artist who publishes under a female pen name, and he doesn't know that she doesn't know, he misunderstands and offers her a chance to work as his assistant instead of a date! But while it's not flowers and dancing, it is a chance to get closer to him, so Chiyo gamely accepts. And when Nozaki realizes how useful Chiyo can be in figuring out what girls find romantic, he'll be spending even more time with her "researching" while remaining completely clueless. I watch something with her and most of the time she’s gonna hear me say “omg that’s so cool! It would be a perfect inspiration for this part of my story!” or “Oh wow, who’s the voice actor for this character?” “I like this characters personality and the way they look, it’s perfect for a character role.” and she gets so mad at me for it.)

In 2022, Hell’s Paradise is gonna have its Anime Adaptation!

The manga was so good, so I’m very excited to hear that’s it’s getting an Anime Adaptation! No word yet on broadcast date or voice actors. I’ve talked about the manga before so if you want more info on what it is about, go here
