I am so tired of the Richard pushed bunny allegations. First of all, Richard wouldn't have had the balls to do it ALSO he had no fucking reason to. When Henry is physically the closest to him, OBVIOUSLY it goes without saying he'd shove bunny. Or no no let's pretend Richard ran dramatically towards Bunny to fill the distance between them (which would have likely alerted Bunny and made him move away) and let's pretend he had enough strength to shove a thick oaf like Bunny (delulu)

Hey, you wanna know why Henry pushing Bunny works the best? Because it was unexpected even when Bunny SHOULD have been expecting it. He should have been wary of Henry, but he let Henry walk him backwards towards the edge of the cliff, stupid rabbit behaviour.

THATS why its supposed to be shocking and real.

Thematically it ,makes zero sense for Richard to shove Bunny and it isn't even satisfying because the loop should end with Henry if it starts with Henry. A major point of the book is Richard gave himself WAY too much importance without being important. Donna projected on him because she couldn't get into the group she wanted to or smthn and thats why Richard REMAINS an outsider even when he's joined the group. Why else do you think he's not involved in any of the major things leading to bunnys death??? You really think, by the way, that his short ass would be enough to shove a tall big oaf like bunny? Be fr. HENRY killed his best friend, thats why he was the worst off at the funeral.

Henry is the symbol of death in this book. Richard is just some guy who tried to make himself seem important in his shitty fanfic.
