I was just brainstorming for my hangster bridgerton au (lol I know) and thus far I’m thinking of jakes sister marrying bradley (for the status) and jake marrying bradleys close friend or relative? As like a beard. And then ofc hangster are together secretly but the sister and the friend are in on it (and prob in a relationship too) and they move allll together in a large estate or something or have neighbouring estates.

Sooo my question is. Who is the friend of bradley that jakes gonna marry?? I was thinking phoenix??

I think it’s supremely funny that hangman is from Texas and twisters takes place in Oklahoma like don’t these states absolutely hate each other???

Tyler and Jake are (distant) cousins and they absolutely hate each other because they both think either’s branch of the family betrayed each other by relocating to the other state and 💀💀💀 it’s sooo stupid bc for them to be fairly related the family can’t have moved a long time ago so imagine they go digging into their family’s history and (like this feud is the basis of their family it feels like it’s an ancient thing like in romeo and juliet level of family rivalry) but the two brothers who moved to different states and are great grandparents originally came from something random like wisconsin 💀💀💀 all that beef and they are from fucking ohio or michigan or whatever

I really adore the casually prioritized importance of friendships in the new Twisters movie. Like obviously there were sparks of romance that i thoroughly enjoyed but the point is that that was never the point. The way that Javi and Kate took care of each other and looked out for each other even when they were fighting. The way the whole tornado wranglers crew acted like family and welcomed Kate right in. The way Tyler was genuinely interested in getting to know Kate and working together with her. There was no big fight between Javi and Tyler over Kate or anybody else. Kate spent the whole movie processing a lot of trauma and was able to be supported by the friends surrounding her instead of having all of her interactions stopped up with an intense budding romance. I just really love it when friendship and people are the most important things.
