@dutybcund liked for a starter with Edmund Bridgerton Sr.

"You're doing great," Edmund had had targets set up for his sons to practice their shooting, Colin and Benedict had gotten bored and wandered off awhile ago, but Anthony was still at it.

"Take your time lining up the shot before firing. It's not a race."

"Fair Enough, It Is A Bit Stuffy In The Ballroom," Edmund Said Coming To Stand Beside Thinya. The Quietness

"Fair enough, it is a bit stuffy in the ballroom," Edmund said coming to stand beside Thinya. The quietness of the veranda compared to the ballroom was sort of nice. He could understand why his future daughter-in-law sought this kind of peace.

"I hope you're enjoying the party, needing fresh air aside. We're all just thrilled you're joining our family."

Edmund should not have been surprised when his second eldest son announced he was engaged to Miss Somerville, Benedict had known Thinya since they had been children, and just like Colin and Penelope friendship was a good place to start a marriage.

Stepping out of the ballroom onto the veranda, Viscount Bridgerton smiled to see his son's fiancée had slipped away for a moment.

"Would you mind some company from your future father-in-law?"

Dances and Balls starters

"Care for a dance?" "You look stunning in that gown." "I didn't know you could dance!" "May I have this waltz?" "The orchestra is simply divine tonight." "Your grace on the dance floor is unmatched." "I've been waiting all night to dance with you." "Isn't the ballroom exquisite?" "I feel like a princess in this dress." "Would you honor me with a dance?" "I didn't recognize you at first in that suit." "This ball is more splendid than I imagined." "You dance as if you've been doing it all your life." "Shall we take a break and get some refreshments?" "I never thought I'd see you here." "Do you think anyone will notice if we slip away?" "The way you move is enchanting." "I can't believe we're finally dancing together." "You stepped on my foot again." "Let's make this night unforgettable." [TWIRL] The sender spins the receiver gracefully around the dance floor. [DIP] The sender dips the receiver dramatically, holding them close. [GUIDE] The sender takes the receiver's hand, leading them confidently through the dance steps. [LAUGH] The sender and receiver share a laugh after a slight misstep during their dance. [COMPLIMENT] The sender leans in to whisper a compliment into the receiver's ear as they dance. [ENCOURAGE] The sender encourages the nervous receiver to step onto the dance floor. [STEAL] The sender steals a quick kiss from the receiver as they dance. [TEACH] The sender patiently teaches the receiver the steps of a complicated dance. [APOLOGIZE] The sender apologizes after accidentally stepping on the receiver's foot. [REMINISCE] The sender and receiver reminisce about a past dance they shared while moving to the music.
