"Yes, but I won't be walking the gardens with you." Daphne said with a conspiratorial smile.

"Benedict will be there as well. You should stroll through the gardens with him, discussing the art." Thinya knew Benedict she'd know what would ignite passion in him.

"That dance is just the beginning." Daphne said with a smile, it would be easy enough to get the family's social calendar out of her mother and invite Thinya as her guest, the tricky part would be nudging Benedict in Thinya's direction without being obvious.

"Are you going to attend the Queen's art exhibition on Tuesday?"

"I see. Welcome then, we are happy to have you and your daughter." Lea knew they were in sore need of medical professionals, just like everywhere else.

"How are you two settling in? Our little piece of the world can be an adjustment, or so I've been told."

It had taken a while to get time to go to the little park, let alone find their way there. But Miles had been determined to make it there. Things had been chaotic enough, moving here from West Virginia, and getting adjusted at the hospital. But with a four year old? And doing it all on his own?

As they walked down the path, Anna's bright smile, sweet face, and little voice greeted everyone with a hello and a wave. But when she saw the little creek up ahead, she broke free from his grip and raced forward, nearly running right into the legs of a woman also standing on the creekbed.

Rushing up, Miles managed to catch up before the little girl ran into the water. "I'm sorry." He apologized as Anna wriggled, eager to go splash around in the water. "She didn't bump into you, did she?"

Grinning, Gracie grabbed Eloise's hand and pulled her outside. She knew of a bar not far from here where they could go.

"Have you ever been to a Lesbian bar?"

"Awesome, I might know a place we can go," Gracie said with a conspiratorial smile.

"Meet me in the lobby in ten? We'll make our get away." The blonde said, collecting her stuff and heading for the door, she only stopped to say her goodbyes to the host quickly and collect her coat, so she could wait for Eloise to slip out.

Eloise Bridgerton was an interesting girl, not too much younger than Gracie, there was a spark in the brunette that Gracie liked and wanted to see more of.

Leanora smiled, her mother may not approve of her conversing with someone like John when she was supposed to be catching the prince's eye, but Lea was finding this conversation much more stimulating than trying to get attention from a man she’d only met a handful of times.

"Thank you, the gardens here are beautiful. Your hard work has paid off."

"No offense was taken." Lea said hoping he'd believe her, true she wasn't normally complimented so openly by a stranger, but the whole point of this dress was to get attention.
