Yeah there was actually a hidden chapter in FS that confirmed Glenn + Matt and Lucia were the ones to introduce pasta to Miniroth/j !!

*The trio walk up to Sephiroth with a pot of pasta*

Matt: We made pasta. Would you like some?

Sephiroth: I've never had it before. Does it taste good?

Glenn: It tastes great! It's my favorite food, you'll love it.

Sephiroth, unsure: It doesn’t look like it follows the diet Professor Hojo has prescribed for me…

Lucia: Eh, screw the diet. Just have a little bit! Here, let me plate it for you.

*Sephiroth eats a bite. His eyes suddenly go wide*

LMFAO felt Angeal, fuckin felt

When Angeal found out that the company apartments available to him upon promotion to First Class had built-in dishwashers, he vowed to stay strong and continue doing his dishes by hand.

Guess how long that lasted.

Inspired by my draining hospital visit today, can we have a scenario where Sephiroth comes back from Hojo’s lab in really poor condition but Angeal and Genesis take care of him?

There have been several times when Angeal and Genesis have experienced Sephiroth returning from a bad lab visit. Because Angeal asked so many disconcerting questions in the past about Sephiroth's many medical procedures, Sephiroth sometimes does not inform them when he's going in for surgery or a new mako infusion. He knows what's happening to him is violating and VERY wrong. But hearing it verbally confirmed by someone else just makes it even worse, especially since there's little he can do about it.

So when Angeal and Genesis find him stumbling blindly around in the hall reeking of Mako, just barely semi-conscious, they work together to make him as comfortable as possible.

Genesis immediately shuts off whatever snide or sarcastic comments he might have lobbed Sephiroth's way--this is serious. And judging from all those healing incisions, it was a bad visit.

Angeal works with Gen to gently guide Sephiroth back to his apartment, both catching him just in time before he collapses.

Sephiroth is mostly incoherent, unable to really gauge his surroundings. His wounds are healing but his MIND is jumbled, still confused and foggy from the drugs.

He refuses to be led into the shower--unpleasant associations with being in the mako tank--so Angeal and Genesis take turns hand-washing him with a small tub and towel to get the acidic smell off him.

Sephiroth squirms at the contact, his eyes cloudy, not really sensing or seeing them beyond vague frightening outlines marring his vision. But he slowly calms as they rub the warm towel against him, gradually soothed by soft whispers and tender touch.

He coos softly at the brief bit of physical affection, leaning into their hands. He doesn't remember the last time someone touched him in a way that feels gentle or loving. He wants more, but he's barely able to keep his eyes open.

Angeal is the one who manages to herd him into the bathroom to change clothes, Genesis loitering the doorway with his eyes averted, cursing Hojo under his breath. He wants to kill the scientist. He vows that if he ever becomes a truly formidable soldier with influence within the organization, he WILL do it. This has to stop.

Now in clean clothes again, Sephiroth is guided to bed, Angeal tucking him in and dimming the lights. He knows that Sephiroth normally would be embarrassed at all the coddling, but right now it's more important that Sephiroth feels safe and comfortable.

Sephiroth is exhausted, falling asleep within seconds. He won't remember any of this the next day, and likely will be back to his usual stoic self.

But Angeal and Genesis spend the night all the same, making sure he's stable and not awakened by one of his visceral night terrors. They take turns sleeping on the couch, getting up every few hours to make sure Sephiroth is still sleeping peacefully.

They can do a bit more prying in the afternoon. Maybe figure something out to make sure it never gets this bad again. But until then, they let Sephiroth rest as much as possible. And make sure that no one--ESPECIALLY Hojo--shows up to bother him.
