Hearing this live tonight for the first time. Will I emotionally withstand it? Probably not hahahaha
I miss it a lot. Days like today, especially after seeing The Head and the Heart last night. My mind is on all those rivers and mountain roads I spent all my free time exploring. I have complicated feelings around missing it. Today, I’m just allowing myself to miss it fully, it hurts so much. Because I miss having moments that were so amazing. I don’t have them like that here. Nothing is new here. I’m thinking about my mountain trip to Nantahala last year. In two days, it will be the one year anniversary of the very last day at that horrible job situation. There’s a lot that happened one year ago this month that I just have so much complicated feelings around. Today, I’m just letting those emotions exist, even though I don’t and may never understand them.

On Tuesday, my friend took my for a drive to get me out of the apartment since I had been too sick to leave. We just drive. There’s a bridge that goes over a river and floodplain covered in a cypress forest. The sunset was beautiful. I’ve watched many sunsets going across this bridge.
