OOOOOH someone said it yall are doing gender essentialism again. and its bad. it's always been bad. i dont know how to phrase this exactly but sometimes it feels like the way people talk about sapphic relationships is born from this weird idea that women are inherently pure and sexless and men are inherently gross and sexual with the way i see some people talk about gay men (ugh these gross men in kink gear at pride parades!) vs the way they talk about lesbians (uwu cottagecore lets hold hands in a meadow) like they think the “purity” of a relationship (already a ridiculous thing to obsess over) is dependent on the amount of women in it ftr i am speaking as a lesbian. im not saying people are better about lesbians than they are about gay men. both of these are weird af just in different ways and an adjacent thing ive noticed as a butch lesbian is that people speak about us the way they speak about gay men which 2 me is more evidence that this is gender essentialist bullshit but Woke This Time because butch lesbians are Basically Men! and men are gross and sexual! so butch lesbians must be too! /sarc i hope this is all coming out right. ive had. Thoughts about this for a long time and this has awakened them LOL obligatory disclaimer because tumblr that im not talking about ace and sex-repulsed lesbians. im talking about the mindset some people seem to have that lesbians never think abt sex unlike men who only think abt sex SORRY op to jump on a somewhat jokey post and start yapping seriously but. i have Strong feelings abt this phenomenon

CM FEMSLASH NOVEMBER

I thought a prompt collection to get us in the spirit of writing the girls might be fun!

The only real “rule” is that fics should focus around any female CM characters (yes, I mean any. Write that lesbian crackship. Be free.) Any rating and any pairing is loved and wanted!
