Thinking About What It Must Have Been Like For Jj And Her Family After Her Sister's Suicide. Living In
thinking about what it must have been like for jj and her family after her sister's suicide. living in a small town (a population of 2136 in 2010) where everyone knows everyone. possibly quite religious. the way everyone would look at them. the way everyone would look at her. the way she can never go back, because they'll always look at her like that. and maybe that's why she keeps it a secret from the team for so long—she spent so much time with everybody knowing, once she's somewhere else, she wants nobody to know.

the future in an oil slick
After a couple seconds of silence, she heard footsteps and indistinct mumbling approaching the door, then stepped back as she heard the soft metal-on-metal sound of a chain lock being undone. Huh. She’d told him he should get one after conceding that he probably didn’t have many more secure housing options within his budget, but he’d been hesitant on that, too. Probably just didn’t want to face the inevitable argument with his landlord. What had changed to— The door opened with a hard jerk, and Elle felt her stomach drop out as Spencer appeared in the entryway. The answer to her question was everything, apparently.
OR: on the anniversary of elle's shooting, she returns to D.C. spencer texts her. two ships passing in the night collide.

Trapped family in Gaza appeals for help to survive🆘🆘🍉
Since the beginning of the aggression after October 7, we have been living in the most difficult tragic circumstances 💔😩
Our house was bombed by the brutal occupation, and with it all our memories that comforted us in this simple house were destroyed. Our hearts stopped beating. Our lives have truly stopped. We have become bodies without a soul. 😭💔

💔🥲

Then we moved to the displacement tents, the tents of pain that do not withstand the cold of winter or the heat of summer. We moved to a life where everything is difficult. We get food with difficulty, we get clothes with difficulty, we get clean water to drink with difficulty. We live a life full of sadness and despair. We live as if we do not live. 🥲

I hope everyone who heard our story will help us to have a better life👍🏻
Please help me and my family who are trapped in Gaza💔
