Decided to draw my favourite irl steam engine. BUT WITH A FACE lmfao.

Aanyway, time for a little history lesson BeCaUsE I wAnT to BaBbLe aBoUT TraInS

This is an express tender engine called Pm36-2, nicknamed Piękna Helena (eng. Beautiful Helena). It had a sister Pm36-1 that had a streamlined cover. Sadly, Pm36-1 was stolen during wwII and probably scrapped in the early 60s. Both were built in 1937 in the first locomotive factory in Poland - Fablok. Helena served the Polish railways until 1966 (during the war she served the USSR and then Germany). In 1995 she was restored and pulled special trains until 2012. Since then she's been waiting for another repair.
